Territories turn Creatures of Sonaria's survival into homesteading: male creatures claim ground and build it out with structures, from bedding and food storage to lures, banners, and walls. Each buildable does a real job, which makes a well-built den less a decoration and more a base of operations.

Bedding
A small, circular pile of moss. Sitting or laying on bedding gives players the Resting status, which provides a 50% buff to their health regeneration.
Food Storage
A bowl. You can deposit food you are holding by pressing , where it will then appear in the bowl. Herbivore and carnivore food cannot be mixed, meaning you will need two different food storages if you need to store both types simultaneously. Hydrated Moss
A muddy pile of wet moss. Standing on top of it slowly refills your moisture bar.
Light Source
A clump of crystals that emit a yellow light.
Lure
A floating crystal that periodically spawns NPCs wherever it is placed.
Pack Banner
A customizable banner showcasing your pack's emblem. While in range, packmates deal 5% less damage to each other.
Planter
A planter that spawns a cherry bush which serves as an herbivore food source, just like the ones that spawn around the map. The cherry bush will always spawn upwards regardless of the planter orientation.
Shelf
A storage shelf to place resources on. Building materials placed on it do not despawn.
Skull Pile
A large pile of creature skulls that afflicts non-packmates with the Fear ailment, which keeps stacking as long as they remain within range.
Wall
A wall that blocks out other players. Members of your pack can pass through. For building purposes they have no collision hitbox.
Water Storage
A bowl that fills with clean water. You cannot deposit water yourself, you must wait for rain, snow or any similar weather event that refills water sources. It does not have to be placed in the open, it can refill even if placed under shelter. Caps at 150 water.

Territories are claimed with the set-nest control, and the build menu offers its structures from there. Each buildable serves the den's residents: bedding for rest, food and water storages for stockpiles, planters for renewable food, light sources for the dark, lures to attract, walls to defend, and banners to mark the pack's claim. Realm-specific options like the Sea Sponge extend the kit into aquatic territory, and event pieces like the Jack-o'-lantern come and go with their seasons.

Storages first: stockpiled food and water is what makes a den worth returning to. Walls and light sources handle safety, and the social pieces (banners, shelves, skull piles) tell visitors whose home they are standing in. A full den is one of the game's quiet status symbols, since every piece represents materials gathered.
