How to Get Kelvaris in Creatures of Sonaria

Updated on August 12, 2026 (about 1 hour ago)

Kelvaris is a Tier 5 land omnivore from Week 2 of the Summer Paradise Event 2026 in Creatures of Sonaria. You unlock the species by finishing the Monster Kelp event mission, not by spending Pearls in the Event Shop.

It is not Logavian, the Week 1 flyer from the Winged Shell mission. Kelvaris stays on the ground, even with all that shoreline kelp piled on.

How to Get Kelvaris in Creatures of Sonaria

Complete the Monster Kelp missions to unlock Kelvaris

Open Missions, pick Event, then open Monster Kelp. All four objectives must finish before you can claim. Work them in any order and stack them while you wait on weather.

  1. Grow a Tier 5 terrestrial to Age 100
Spawn any Tier 5 land species and raise it to Age 100. Hardcore Realm growth is faster if you want to cut the wait. Mission text notes that grow tokens and combat logging do not count toward this task. If a token does not register, let age climb the normal way.

  2. Spin the Semi-Aquatic Gacha 5 times
From the creatures menu, open Shop → Gacha → Semi-Aquatic Gacha and spin five times. Any results count. Other gachas will not move this bar.

  3. Grow 3 palm trees
Collect Palm Sprouts around the map, then plant them in drinkable water. Each plant needs to fully grow, and planting has about a two-minute cooldown between tries. Move to another water area if sprouts dry up nearby.

  4. Experience Monsoon weather
Stay in a live server until Monsoon rolls in. You cannot force the weather, so keep farming the other tasks while you wait. For how weather works in Sonaria, the environment and weather page is a handy companion while you sit out the storm.

When every box is checked, hit Claim on the Kelvaris reward card. The species unlock is permanent on your account once claimed.

If progress stalls, check the usual culprits: wrong gacha, palms outside drinkable water, or Monsoon still pending while the other three are done. The Event Shop sells other Summer Paradise returns with Pearls. Kelvaris is not one of them.

What you get after claiming Kelvaris

Kelvaris is a huge shore tank: Tier 5, terrestrial, omnivore. In-game lore paints it as an Ancient Kelp Titan that hides under shoreline kelp by day and feeds at night. For more of the game's roster and systems, start from the Creatures of Sonaria wiki and the all creatures collection.

A trial version also appears in the Trial Creatures Shop for 9,000 Shooms (male) or 90,000 Shooms (female). That is a separate trial path, not the free Monster Kelp unlock.

While you grind event tasks, Creatures of Sonaria codes are an easy side stop for free rewards.

FAQ

Q.

Do grow tokens count for the Age 100 Monster Kelp task?

Mission text notes that grow tokens and combat logging do not count. Raise a Tier 5 land species to Age 100 the normal way if a token does not register.

Q.

Is Kelvaris the flying turtle in Creatures of Sonaria?

No. Kelvaris is a Tier 5 land omnivore. Logavian is the Week 1 flyer unlocked from the Winged Shell mission.

Q.

Can I buy Kelvaris with Pearls in the Event Shop?

No. Kelvaris comes from finishing Monster Kelp and claiming the reward. Event Shop Pearls buy other returning Summer Paradise creatures, not this one.

Q.

Why isn't my palm tree progress moving?

You need Palm Sprouts planted in drinkable water, and each tree must fully grow. Planting has a short cooldown, so wait or relocate if sprouts are scarce.
