Open the Coral Snail mission
Open Missions, choose Event or Summer Paradise, and select Coral Snail. The mission sits beside Monster Kelp, so check the reward name before you start. The neighboring mission is an easy wrong turn.

Complete the four Coral Snail tasks and claim Gubbin
Finish every objective shown on the Coral Snail board:
- Grow a Tier 1 species to Age 200 twice.
- Spin the Sea Gacha five times.
- Collect three Little Clams during Monsoon.
- Experience a Blue Moon.
For the Little Clam task, use the mission counter as your progress check. The board names the collectible and the weather condition, but it does not give a fixed location, so older clam or food maps are not a guaranteed route.
When the board reaches 4/4, claim the reward for one permanent Gubbin species.

Gubbin is a Paradise Special, Tier 1 semi-aquatic herbivore. Its listed basics are 2,000 Health, 2,000 Weight, 20 Walk Speed, 60 Sprint Speed, 60 Damage, and 200 Stamina. Its normal growth time is 480 seconds, or 8 minutes.
