Creatures of Sonaria Wiki

Updated on (9 days ago)

Creatures of Sonaria drops you into Sonaria as a creature you picked, painted, and maybe mutated. Your job is blunt: keep health, stamina, hunger, and thirst in the green while you grow from a small juvenile into an adult that can actually hold its own in a fight.

Sniff tracks food, water, and nearby threats. Shooms tick in while you survive, and you spend them on gacha spins, rotation-store creatures, and trades in the Trade Realm. Weather, seasons, and disasters can turn a calm grazing route into a sprint for shelter. When HP hits zero, that stored creature is gone unless you have a revive token handy (death does not negotiate).

Creatures:

Creatures are the playable species you spawn and grow in Creatures of Sonaria, ranked by tier from Tiny to Huge with diet and mobility on every row. You unlock them through gacha pools, Shoom shops, artifact discounts, missions, events, Robux purchases, or player trading depending on the species. Tier and stats help you pick combat matchups, while diet and mobility decide food fit and map access.

All 470 Creatures in Creatures of Sonaria

Creature Abilities:

Creature abilities are the actives and passives tied to each species in Creatures of Sonaria: burst actives with cooldowns, breath beams with capacity meters, movement tools, and passives that add or block ailment on bite. You do not unlock them separately; they come with the creature you spawn or grow. Knowing what an ability actually does helps you pick fights, plan breath uptime, and read whether a passive is meant for aggression, trades, or survival.

All 168 Creature Abilities in Creatures of Sonaria

Status Effects:

Status effects are the temporary buffs and debuffs that hit your health, stamina, movement, and combat stats during fights and survival runs. You pick them up from bites, abilities, food, weather, realm hazards, and pack bonuses. Knowing how each one stacks and whether sitting, laying down, mud, Fortify, or Divination can cleanse it is often the difference between escaping a fight and respawning.

All 98 Status Effects in Creatures of Sonaria: Stacking, Recovery, and Combat Rules

Plushies:

Plushies are equippable passive boosts you slot onto stored creatures, up to two per creature. Effects cover stamina, hunger, combat stats, mutation odds, and more. Most come from permanent gacha rolls, returning event shops, weekly missions, codes, merch, or special roles. They return to your inventory on death, and most can be traded between players.

All 85 Plushies in Creatures of Sonaria

Tokens:

Tokens are one-use utilities in Creatures of Sonaria for growing creatures, reviving slots, forcing weather, unlocking gacha spins, or skipping mission tasks. Shop tokens cost Tikits or Robux from the Tokens tab; gacha tokens come from map exploration, mission tasks, or Death Rewards. Explorer capsules spawn one at a time on the map, and spins still cost Shooms after you collect the token.

All 27 Tokens in Creatures of Sonaria

Mutations:

Mutations are cosmetic visual overlays on creatures in Creatures of Sonaria, rolled through nest hatching or growth milestones like age 67 and age 100. You can store three on one creature, but only one shows unless Glimmer layers on top. Hunt them year-round, during monthly birthstone windows, seasonal events, or with plushie boosts on the nesting parent.

All 49 Mutations in Creatures of Sonaria

Traits:

Traits are permanent stat rolls that appear as colored hex markers on your creature, separate from cosmetic mutations. You earn up to two per lifetime: one around age 66 and another after age 100, or both at once when hatching from another player's nest. They boost real stats like damage, speed, or HP regen, and Elder veneration at age 200+ can push those boosts higher if you keep the creature alive.

All 8 Traits in Creatures of Sonaria

Color Palettes:

Color palettes are cosmetic presets that recolor stored creatures in Creatures of Sonaria. You buy most from the permanent Shooms or Tikit shop, earn some from daily missions or shrine donations, and pick up seasonal ones during events. They are tradable and tied to one stored creature at a time, with a possible appearance fee after death.

All 104 Color Palettes in Creatures of Sonaria

Material Palettes:

Material palettes retexture your creature with effects like foil, glass, magma, forcefields, and full themed looks. Material Overrides usually keep your chosen colors but often need an Appearance Change Token after death; Signature Looks and Themes use four preset colors and skip that token fee. They come from the Standard shop, Shoom Pile drops, realm missions, seasonal events, redeem codes, limited bundles, and Twin Atlas merchandise.

All 123 Material Palettes in Creatures of Sonaria

Artifacts:

Artifacts are discount tokens earned from missions, gacha rolls, and shrine donations. Each one lowers Shoom prices on matching Artifact Shop creatures, and owning more copies of the same type stacks the savings through multiplication. They cap at 20 per type, live in Misc. Items, and burn up when you buy a discounted shop creature, so players usually farm both the common and premium artifact in a family before committing to a purchase.

All 12 Artifacts in Creatures of Sonaria

Food Sources:

Food sources are the map nodes, plants, carcasses, chunks, eggs, and event spawns that refill your hunger bar in Creatures of Sonaria. Each type grants a fixed bite budget and may apply Satiated (faster growth), Enriched (more stamina), Clean Water (from clean ponds), or nothing at all for infinite grass and algae. Player drops and chunks rot over time and can inflict Sickly when spoiled, so choosing where to farm and what to carry matters as much as finding food.

All 17 Food Sources in Creatures of Sonaria

Biomes:

Biomes are Sonaria's named map regions for region missions, Shoom Piles, shrine travel, and minimap navigation across Main World, Hardcore Realm, and Aquatic Realm. Each biome runs a fixed mission template (land six-task with mud roll, underwater five-task, or Aquatic six-task with sandy mud) and ties to landmarks like Warden shrines, Shadow Shrine, or Eigion shrines. Hardcore remaps familiar terrain under new names with faster drain and bonus Shoom; Aquatic Realm adds swim-only depth layers for marine species.

All 38 Biomes in Creatures of Sonaria

Environment:

Sonaria's environment runs on a global season clock, short random weather, and rare natural disasters that can stack. Seasons change food multipliers and unlock certain weather, while patterns like Rain, Blizzard, and Acid Rain apply buffs or debuffs for a few minutes at a time. Disasters such as Flood, Tornado, and Volcanic Eruption reshape the whole map and block weather-change tokens until they finish.

All 31 Seasons, Weather & Disasters in Creatures of Sonaria

Titles:

Titles are cosmetic profile medals you equip with the T button to show off milestones next to your name. Most come from event badges or stat grinds, a few need huge Shoom balances or large species collections, and some re-lock if you spend down or trade away creatures. Event badge titles can be missable once the event ends.

Creatures of Sonaria Survive Kaiju Animals Gameplay Tips

  • Sniff often and follow the markers before hunger or thirst starts biting. Stable meters buy you time to explore, grow, and pick safer fights.
  • Sit or lay down to recover stamina faster and clear some ailments. Laying heals quicker, but you take more damage if something finds you mid-nap.
  • Open creature stats with K before you commit to a fight. Tier, weight, diet, and mobility type matter more than rushing PvP on a fresh spawn.
  • Use hide scent with N or roll in mud when you want fewer predators sniffing your trail. It helps when you are farming, traveling, or just not ready for combat.
