Grow a Garden Crop Value Calculator

Updated on December 15, 2025 (2 months ago)

Grow a Garden makes it hard to know how much a crop is actually worth. Weight, variants, and mutations all change the final sell price, and the game never shows the exact math.

This calculator does. Pick a crop, enter its weight and quantity, apply variants and mutations, and you’ll see the final Sheckles value with a clear breakdown of how it’s calculated.

Step 1 · Choose a crop

Search and pick a crop. Toggle between average or baseline values for Base Value/Weight.

Step 2 · Enter weight and quantity

Step 3 · Choose a Growth Mutation

Only one growth mutation can be active at a time.

Step 4 · Choose Temperature Mutation

Pick one temperature mutation. This overrides Wet/Chilled/Drenched/Frozen.

Step 5 · Apply mutations

Tap to select mutations. Multipliers stack using the provided formula.

How This Calculator Works

This calculator follows the same value logic used in Grow a Garden to estimate how many Sheckles a crop sells for.

First, we start with the crop’s Base Value and Base Weight. You can choose which baseline to use.

  • Average shows a typical expected value.
  • Baseline (Floor) gives a safer, minimum-style estimate.

Next, we apply the weight factor. Heavier crops sell for more, and the game scales value using a squared formula:

Crop Value = Base Value × (Weight ÷ Base Weight)²

After that, we calculate the mutation multiplier. Variants and mutations increase the value, but stacking follows a diminishing formula to prevent extreme numbers:

Mutation Multiplier = Variant × (1 + sum of mutation multipliers − number of mutations)

Finally, the calculator multiplies everything together and applies the quantity you entered:

Final Price = Crop Value × Mutation Multiplier × Quantity

You’ll see the total Sheckles earned, the price per crop, and a full breakdown so you can verify every step.

FAQ

Q.

Is this calculator accurate?

This calculator follows known Grow a Garden value formulas using crop weight, variants, and mutation multipliers. The result is an estimate, not a guaranteed in-game sell price, since actual values can vary slightly due to game updates or hidden modifiers.

Q.

Why does crop weight affect value so much?

Grow a Garden scales crop value using a squared formula. This means heavier crops increase in value very quickly compared to lighter ones, even before mutations are applied.

Q.

What is the difference between Average and Baseline values?

Average shows a typical expected value based on normal crop data, while Baseline (Floor) uses minimum reference values to give a safer estimate. Both use the same formula, only the starting values change.

Q.

Can I stack multiple variants like Gold and Rainbow?

No. Only one of Silver, Gold, or Rainbow can be applied at a time. Some variants like Ripe may stack if supported.

Q.

Why are some mutations shown as single-choice options?

Some Grow a Garden mutations replace each other, such as temperature-related ones like Wet, Chilled, Drenched, and Frozen. Instead of allowing conflicting combinations and blocking them later, these are grouped into a single-choice section so only one can be active at a time.

Q.

Why does my result differ from another calculator?

Different calculators may use different baselines, handle mutation stacking differently, or ignore conflict rules. This calculator shows a full breakdown so you can see exactly what is being applied.

Q.

Does this calculator include friend or party boosts?

Only verified multipliers are included. If a boost does not have a confirmed value, it is excluded to avoid inaccurate results.

Q.

Are all crops and mutations included?

Most commonly used crops and mutations are included. If something is missing, the calculator will clearly say so instead of guessing a value.

Q.

Will this calculator be updated?

Yes. Values and mutation rules may change when Grow a Garden updates. This calculator is reviewed and updated regularly to stay accurate.
