All 15 Skins in Animal Hospital

Updated on (12 days ago)

Skins are the class outfits you buy with Animal Coins in Animal Hospital. Each one is locked to a single class, so Rascal only shows on Intern and Hospital Cop only shows on Security. They change how you look on shift. They do not change perks, starter items, or combat power.

Where skins live in the lobby

Open the Classes shop in the lobby (the yellow circle by the ambulance). Pick the class you already own, then hit the Skins button above the model. Pay with Animal Coins, equip the skin you want, and start the next shift. You cannot buy a skin for a class you have not unlocked yet, and wearing one never swaps your role or upgrade level.

Signature redesigns vs Classic looks

Signature redesigns are the named cosmetics people flex: Rascal, Assistant Nurse, Psycho, Hospital Cop, Supervisor, and Agent R. They sit at the higher coin prices and swap the whole outfit for a full redesign.

Classic looks are the older class models kept in the shop after the class remakes. They cost much less than the matching signature skin when both exist. Intern never got a remodel, so Intern only has Rascal. Doctor and Surgeon still only sell a Classic look, with no signature redesign in the shop yet.

How to spend Animal Coins on cosmetics

Treat skins as a vanity sink after your main class buys feel solid. Coins also unlock classes, so dumping a big pile into Supervisor or Agent R before you own the roles you actually play is a common trap.

A clean order for most free-to-play players:

  1. Unlock the classes you main first (Nurse, Security, Surgeon, and friends).
  2. Grab cheap Classics if you just want something different without a big flex spend.
  3. Save for the signature skin on the class you equip every shift, not every class on the board.

Nurse is a good example of the trade-off: Nurse (Classic) is almost free for the old model, while Assistant Nurse is the mid-tier redesign when you already live on the inventory perk. Security and Head Nurse stretch that gap even wider: Hospital Cop and Supervisor are premium coin flexes, while their Classic versions cost a small fraction.

Soft spots and lobby checks

Secretary (Classic) shows up in the shop, but public guides do not list a confirmed coin price. Read the live cost in the Classes shop before you assume it is cheap. Prices can drift after updates, so when a card and the lobby disagree, trust the lobby.

FAQ

Q.

How do you buy skins in Animal Hospital?

In the lobby Classes shop, select a class you own, open the Skins button above the model, and pay with Animal Coins. Equip the skin before your next shift.

Q.

Do skins change class perks or combat power?

No. Skins are cosmetic only. Your equipped class and upgrade level still set inventory, sanity, starter items, and tools.

Q.

What is the difference between a signature redesign and a Classic look?

Signature redesigns are the named full outfits (like Rascal or Hospital Cop). Classic looks are older class models sold cheap after a remodel. Some classes only have one type in the shop.

Q.

Can you use a skin on any class?

No. Each skin is locked to one class. Buying Psycho only works while you play Psychologist; it will not appear on Nurse or Security.

Q.

What currency buys Animal Hospital skins?

Animal Coins only. Robux is for some premium classes, not for these class skins.

Q.

Why is Secretary (Classic) missing a price?

Guides list the skin in the shop but do not publish a confirmed Animal Coin cost. Check the live number on the Secretary Skins screen in the lobby before you buy.
