Entering Animal Hospital's Event Mode in The Hollow

Animal Hospital has its own portal in The Hollow's event hub. Step into it to reach the game, then start a run in the Hollow event mode. Treat patients and keep the hospital running through the first shift. The quest doesn't start until Shift 2, so getting through this shift is what opens it.

Collecting Photos With Hazmat's Vacuum on Shift 2

When Shift 2 begins, find Hazmat in the hospital and speak with them. They give you a vacuum cleaner, and you'll use it for the photo part of the quest.

Search the map for pink slime puddles and vacuum them to reveal the photos.

Work through the puddles until you have the photos the quest asks for. Once you do, head to reception for the puzzle.

Solving the 3x3 Sliding Picture Puzzle at Reception

Reception has a 3x3 sliding puzzle hanging on the wall in front of the counter. It's a picture cut into eight tiles with one open space, and you move tiles into that open space one at a time. Your goal is to slide the tiles until the full picture is complete.

Only the tiles next to the open space can move, so a move can undo the one before it. Think a step or two ahead instead of sliding at random.

Finishing the Quest With Hazmat on Shift 3

Keep running the hospital until Shift 3, then speak to Hazmat again. This second conversation finishes the quest, and it's the last thing you need to do inside the hospital.
