How to Unlock the Harvest Golem in Grow a Garden

Updated on August 19, 2026 (about 1 hour ago)

Harvest Golem is a Mythical pet you unlock through Moon Crafting in Grow a Garden. Summon Harvest Moon 12 times to open its crafting tier, then bring four ingredients and 500 Moon Coins to start the 1-hour-30-minute craft.

Event recipes can change. If the live Moon Crafting panel shows different numbers, trust the panel in your server.

How to Unlock the Harvest Golem in Grow a Garden

Summon Harvest Moon until Harvest Golem unlocks

Start at the central Harvest Moon pedestals and place fruit into all 10 offering slots. Some slots may ask for a fruit with a specific mutation, so keep a mixed supply ready instead of arriving with one lonely tomato and a dream.

Complete the offering to summon Harvest Moon, then repeat the process until the counter reaches 12 summons. Reaching that count unlocks the Moon Crafting tier for Harvest Golem. Once the recipe is available, move on to crafting unless the live panel tells you that another requirement is still missing.

Moonbeam-mutated fruit can be sold at the Moon Sell Stand for Moon Coins, which helps you prepare the 500-coin cost. For a refresher on the game's normal crafting flow, see the Grow a Garden crafting recipes guide.

Craft Harvest Golem with the four ingredients

Open the Moon Crafting panel after the Harvest Golem recipe becomes available. Gather these requirements before starting the timer:

RequirementAmount
Moon Egg1
Mythical Egg1
Burning Bud Seed1
Romanesco Seed1
Moon Coins500
Craft time1 hour 30 minutes

Select Harvest Golem, add the four ingredients and Moon Coins, then start the craft. The Moon Egg pets guide can help you identify the right egg before you spend it.

Use Harvest Smash carefully after the pet is ready

Harvest Smash is meant to help nearby plants advance their growth and collect fruit. The description also gives harvested fruit a chance to remain on the plant, so it is helpful without making every harvest a guaranteed two-for-one.

Test the pet in your current server before leaving it to work unattended. On some server versions, Harvest Smash may not trigger consistently, so a missing trigger may be a server problem rather than a bad craft.

Harvest Golem is separate from the older Sprout Egg Golem. If you are comparing pets after the timer finishes, the Grow a Garden pets tier list gives broader pet context without changing the Harvest Golem requirements.

Harvest Golem FAQ

Is Harvest Golem the same as the regular Golem?

No. Harvest Golem is a Mythical pet from Harvest Moon Event Part 3, while the older Sprout Egg Golem is a different pet with a different unlock path.

Does Harvest Smash guarantee that harvested fruit stays on the plant?

No. Fruit remaining is described as a chance, not a guarantee. The ability can also behave inconsistently on some server versions, so test it before trusting it with valuable crops.
