The Rose Emblem is a Vanguard Familiar that costs 500 First Commander Tokens at the First Commander Dungeon Shop. It only equips to Rummie (Scythe), the Exclusive-rarity unit it was made for. Equipped, it gives her three passives that overhaul her combat: Crimson Petals, Thorned Devotion and Undying Bloom. Here's how to earn the tokens, then what each passive does and the conditions that decide when it fires.
How to Get the Rose Emblem in Vanguards
The Rose Emblem arrived with the 2nd Anniversary celebration, and you earn the tokens by clearing The First Commander dungeon. Here's the route from zero:
- Reach level 100, the dungeon's entry requirement.
- Enter the dungeon and clear all 20 waves. A full clear pays 50 First Commander Tokens.
- Repeat until you have 500 tokens. From zero, that's ten full clears.
- Buy the Rose Emblem from the First Commander Dungeon Shop for 500 tokens.
- Equip it to Rummie (Scythe) to turn on her three passives.
Already have some tokens? Subtract them from 500, divide by 50, round up, and count only full clears.
Check the dungeon's level requirement and reward screen before you plan around ten clears. Patches can change reward numbers, and if the screen shows something different, trust the screen.
Rose Emblem Passives and What They Do
The Rose Emblem is built to overhaul Rummie's combat through stat boosts, support effects and offensive abilities. Thorned Devotion and Undying Bloom both have conditions that change the result, so read those closely.
Crimson Petals
Crimson Petals gives Rummie an 8,000% increase in damage.
Thorned Devotion
Thorned Devotion increases damage by 80% for Passion-type units. It also strengthens some buffs between Passion-type units. When one Passion-type unit buffs another Passion-type unit's damage, range, critical rate or critical damage, that buff is 20% stronger. Elemental buffs are excluded, so they don't get the boost.
The follow-up is where it gets busy. After every attack, Rummie's Red Gem follows up, even with 30 or more enemies in range, and those follow-ups always land as critical hits.
When no enemies are in range, Rummie doesn't idle. She performs Attack 3 and hits every enemy on the map. Attack 3 hits have no follow-ups.
Undying Bloom
Rummie gains 30% critical damage for each unique unit buffing her.
Each critical hit gives Rummie 20% damage for 30 seconds, up to a 100% cap. That's five critical hits to reach the cap, as long as the earlier stacks are still running. Each stack has its own timer, so a new stack doesn't reset the ones before it.
The last part is a save. If no revive has been used in the match, and a non-boss enemy would take your last stock, you keep one stock instead. Bosses don't trigger it. When it fires, every enemy is sent back 10 seconds along its path and takes damage equal to 1,000% of Rummie's damage.
Who Can Equip Rose Emblem?
Only Rummie (Scythe) can equip the Rose Emblem, so it does nothing without her.
Before you farm ten clears, check in-game that you can get and use Rummie during the 2nd Anniversary update. If you don't have her, skip the purchase until you do.
