Anime Vanguards is a tower defense game on Roblox where you place anime characters, called units, on a map to stop waves of enemies. The strongest picks after Update 15 are True Shadow Monarch and God Ascended, and the top established units are Apathetic Savior (Door), Rogita (Super 4), Gujo (Infinity), Ice Queen (Release), and Alocard (Vampire King).

How the Tiers Are Built
Tiers group units by how well they fit common team setups. The grouping weighs role, synergy with other units, how much investment a unit needs, and the game mode you play. S holds the units most players build around, A holds strong picks that need a specific team or more investment to shine, and B holds picks with a narrower job. The order inside a tier isn't a ranking, so read each group as a set of good options.
A top tier doesn't mean a unit is easy to get. Some of the strongest picks come from quests or event rewards, so check the route before you spend Gems or event currency. Units outside these picks can still work well with the right teammates, so build around what you own before you chase something new.
Where to Get the Update 15 Units and Key Picks
Login rewards, banners, and the Event Pass only work while their event window is open, so check that window before you plan around one.
- True Shadow Monarch: the Player Quest evolution of Song Jinwu and Igros, which is one combined unit.
- God Ascended: evolves from God (Standless), using four Saint parts and 50,000 Gold.
- Yuvi: the Day 1 anniversary login or the Anniversary '26 banner.
- Seiloshibo: the Anniversary '26 banner or the Spider Forest Web Demon Ex encounter.
- Death's Grasp: tier 50 of the Season 4 Event Pass.
- Apathetic Savior (Door): Lunar Bridge Floor 11, then evolution with a Universe Arcana.
- Rogita (Super 4) and Divalo (Requiem): both were removed from the Special banner, so build around them if you already own them.
True Shadow Monarch and God Ascended Lead the Update 15 Picks
True Shadow Monarch's value is in the team around it. Placed in your first team slot, it unlocks a seventh unit slot and lets the whole team share its trait, stats, familiar, and memoria.

God Ascended is built for damage and control, so it suits a team that needs both at once. Check that your lineup has room for it before you put materials into the evolution.

Yuvi, Seiloshibo, and Death's Grasp Round Out Update 15
Yuvi deals damage and buffs Video Game and Spark allies. It fits best on a team already built around those two groups, where the buff does the most work.
Seiloshibo is built for burst damage. It hits hard in short bursts and keeps gaining strength as a fight goes on, so it's most useful in longer fights.
Death's Grasp is a utility pick for Cosmic team setups. It's most useful when your team already runs Cosmic units, which is why it sits in B.

Established Support and Control Picks
Apathetic Savior (Door) covers both support and crowd control, which keeps it in S. When a team needs both jobs covered, it's the established pick to reach for.
Gujo (Infinity) and Ice Queen (Release) handle the crowd. Gujo stuns and slows enemies, which keeps them on the path longer, and Ice Queen freezes groups in place. Either one gives your damage more time to work.
Alocard (Vampire King) brings bleed damage that spreads across wide areas. Bleed keeps hurting enemies over time, so it suits waves that arrive in large groups.
Earlier Damage Picks and Team Specialists
Rogita (Super 4) is the unit to reach for in boss fights, since its damage is built for heavy hits against bosses. Divalo (Requiem) is an area damage and control pick.
Cursed Copycat (Pure) pairs damage with a clone effect, which adds value beyond raw damage. Brolzi Super (Wrathful) is an area damage unit.
Rebel Fighter (Gauntlet) does its best work when its combo lands, which makes it a situational pick rather than a default. Phantom Thief (Jester) depends on the team around it. Its utility only shows up when your lineup is set up to use it, which is why it sits in B.
