Divine Moth costs 500 First Commander Tokens, and only Lizard (Fission) can use it. If you don't run that unit, skip the grind. The Familiar is incompatible with every other unit in the game. It arrived with the 2nd Anniversary Event and sells in the First Commander Dungeon Shop for the same price as every other Vanguard Familiar there. Some guides call it Divine Math, but the in-game name is Divine Moth.
Divine Moth gives Lizard three passives. They boost damage, take a share of meter from your other units, and add a late transformation with the Fire element and Atomic Stacks. Here's how to earn the tokens, buy the Familiar, equip it and what each passive actually changes.
How to Get Divine Moth in Vanguards
The real cost is the grind. You earn First Commander Tokens by clearing The First Commander dungeon, and each full clear pays 50. From an empty balance, that's ten full clears.
- Reach Level 100, the dungeon's entry requirement.
- Open Gamemodes, then Dungeons, and pick Act 1: The First Commander. Confirm the Level 100 requirement on the entry panel.
- Clear all 20 waves. A full clear pays 50 First Commander Tokens.
- Repeat until your balance reaches 500.
- Find the First Commander Dungeon Shop in game and buy Divine Moth. Check the listing for the name and the 500-token price before you spend.
Check the post-run reward screen after your first full clear. If it shows 50 tokens, ten full clears gets you to 500. If it shows a different number, divide 500 by that number instead.
How to Equip Divine Moth on Lizard (Fission)
Lizard (Fission) is an Exclusive-rarity unit. Once you own Divine Moth, equip it from the Familiars menu:
- Open Units, then Familiars.
- Select Divine Moth and press Equip.
- Choose Lizard (Fission).
- Check the unit card or the Passives panel on Lizard to confirm Divine Moth is attached.
Divine Moth Passives and What They Do

Divine Moth has three passives, and Peak of Atomic Power only starts at Lizard's final upgrade. The table gives the numbers, and the sections below explain how the pieces connect.
| Passive | Affects | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Natural Disaster | Lizard (Fission) | 3,000% more damage and 100% more meter gain |
| The Monster Who Ate a Star | Spark-type units | 80% more damage |
| The Monster Who Ate a Star | Anniversary-type units | 80% more damage and 20% more range |
| Peak of Atomic Power, after transforming | Fire-type units | 80% more damage |
| Peak of Atomic Power, after transforming | Anniversary units | 10% more damage and 10% more crit damage per Atomic Stack |
Timing matters more than the table shows. Peak's bonuses don't start until Lizard transforms, and Atomic Stacks only build after that.
Natural Disaster
Natural Disaster is the simple one. It only affects Lizard (Fission), so none of your other units benefit from it. There's one catch, and it involves the next passive. The extra meter gain doesn't apply to meter Lizard steals with The Monster Who Ate a Star, so that stolen meter misses the boost.
The Monster Who Ate a Star
This passive does two jobs. It boosts your team, and it changes how Lizard handles meter. The team side covers Spark-type and Anniversary-type units, and Anniversary units also get the range boost. If your team has neither type, the team side does nothing for you.
Lizard's own Nuclear Apex burn changes too. It now equals 70% of the current Radiation meter instead of 50%, so a fuller meter means a bigger burn. The meter Lizard steals feeds that directly, because it goes into the Radiation meter.
The stealing works like this. When one of your other units gains meter, Lizard takes 20% of that gain, rounded up. That stolen meter is split equally between all your placed Lizards with this Familiar and added to each one's Radiation meter. The effect has a five-second cooldown shared by those Lizards, so a second Lizard with this Familiar doesn't make it steal more often.
With Divine Moth equipped, Lizard may also be immune to meter theft. Check the in-game passive text before you plan around that.
Peak of Atomic Power
Peak of Atomic Power is the late-game part. Lizard gets Nuclear Meltdown at its final upgrade. Use Nuclear Meltdown, and Lizard transforms for as long as it stays placed.
Once it transforms, Lizard gains the Fire element and starts boosting Fire-type units. It inflicts the Scorched status ailment for 60 seconds, replacing the Scorched ailment from other players' units and from your units without this Familiar. If another of your Anniversary or Fire-type units is in Lizard's range, that Scorched raises Fire-type damage by 40% instead of 20%. Heat Overload also fully charges in 10 seconds instead of 20, so it charges in half the time.
Atomic Stacks
Atomic Stacks are the build-up on a transformed Lizard. Each time one of your units in Lizard's range uses an Active Ability that deals damage, Lizard gains one stack, up to 10. Stacks stay while Lizard is placed.
Each stack adds 20% to Heat Overload's damage multiplier. At full charge, that multiplier starts at 400% and reaches 600% at 10 stacks. Every stack also strengthens your Anniversary units, so the build-up helps the rest of your team.
Should You Grind for Divine Moth?
If Lizard (Fission) is already on your team, the Familiar is built around it. It boosts Lizard's damage and meter, gives Spark and Anniversary units extra damage, and adds Fire damage after Lizard transforms.
The grind is long for one unit, so commit only if Lizard is a unit you plan to run. If you're saving the same tokens for another Familiar, the Rose Emblem Familiar guide covers the same dungeon route for that one.
