Steal an Egg Echo’s Memories Quest – Lost Items Locations Guide

Echo’s four lost things are spread across three areas of the Halloween Dimension: the Phantom Express station, the Abandoned Manor and the Haunted Swamp. You can collect them in any order. Once Echo has all four, he leads you to the Haunted Swamp pier, where the quest turns into a fishing course and ends with the Phantom Express Ticket.

Starting Echo’s Memories in Steal an Egg

Head into the Halloween Dimension through the portal near the Trails Shop, then look for Echo. He’s a dog spirit with long blue ears and a blue tongue. Interact with him, and a short dialogue starts Echo’s Memories.

Echo has lost his memories and his owner’s identity, so your job is to help him remember. The quest banner at the top of the screen shows the clue for each item and how many you’ve collected. Click it whenever you need a reminder.

Where to Find All 4 Echo Lost Items

Three of the four routes start at spawn. The bone starts at the Phantom Express ladder instead.

Echo’s Collar at the Phantom Express

1. Leave spawn and head straight to the Haunted Swamp.
2. Turn right at the third wooden lamppost.
3. Keep going until the Phantom Express appears.
4. Use the left ladder to reach the platform.
5. Cross the tracks.
6. Check by the tree or in the grass beside the tracks.

Old Photograph at the Abandoned Manor

1. Leave spawn and go straight to the Abandoned Manor.
2. Check behind the pumpkin and stones to the left of the gate.
3. If the photograph isn’t there, check the stone pillar and rock barrier around the orange pumpkin on the other side of the gate.

Mr. Squeaky by the Halloween Altar

Mr. Squeaky is Echo’s favorite toy, a white rabbit.

1. Leave spawn and head straight to the Haunted Swamp.
2. Turn left at the first wooden lamppost.
3. Keep going to the Halloween Altar.
4. Check by the altar.
5. If it’s not there, check around the glowing orange pumpkin in the central graveyard or the nearby pumpkin house.

Chewed Bone by the Phantom Express

1. Start at the ladder on the Phantom Express’s right side.
2. Face the Haunted Swamp and walk straight past the stone.
3. Check in front of the two small pumpkins.
4. If the bone isn’t there, search the grassy clearing between the trees and rocks around the express area, including the riverbank rocks.

How to Get the Phantom Express Ticket

Return all four items to Echo, and he remembers where his owner is: the pier in the Haunted Swamp. The rest of the quest happens there.

1. Follow Echo to the pier in the Haunted Swamp.
2. Speak to the Ghost Fisherman at the pier to receive the Haunted Rod.
3. Cast the Haunted Rod into the swamp.
4. Dodge the sea mines in the underwater course.
5. Reach the chest to get the Phantom Express Ticket.

After the chest, the same fish comes back for another go, and the Ghost Fisherman pulls you onto the pier with his fishing rod.

Using the Phantom Express Ticket

The ticket lets you board the Phantom Express whenever it arrives at the station, the same spot where you found the collar. Where the train takes you hasn’t been confirmed yet. Once you have the ticket, wait at the station for the train.
