The Sightless Oracle is a Harpoon Gun from Fisch's The Deep update (Version 1.96.0, August 8, 2026), not a fishing rod. You unlock it by finishing The Blind Oracle's two-quest line in the Outer Deep. Clear The Deep: Unseen Guidance, then The Deep: Eyeless Truth, and she hands over the gun with a solid C$ and XP payout.
You need The Deep open first. Follow how to enter The Deep in Fisch for the sail, ship, and dive. Once you are under, look for The Blind Oracle next to Sledge. She is not a shop, and the harpoon does not drop at random.
Find The Blind Oracle and finish both quests
The Blind Oracle waits in the Outer Deep near the Lower Deep approach, right next to Sledge. GPS is 1511, -2485, -11965. If the pin feels fuzzy, find Sledge first and talk to the NPC beside him. Turn both quests in at the Lower Deep Shrine after the objectives clear.
- Talk to The Blind Oracle and start The Deep: Unseen Guidance.
- Land 15 Perfect Catches in a row in Gloomy Crevice. One miss resets the streak, so treat every catch like it counts. Turn in for 40,000 C$, 3,000 XP, and the Sightless Scholar title.
- Start The Deep: Eyeless Truth at the same NPC.
- Perfect Catch one Monstrous Cusk. It only appears during a Monstrous Cusk Hunt in Gloomy Crevice, and you need a Harpoon Gun (shot, surface, then hook). Soft help: Bio-Infused Coral bait, Rain or Foggy weather, Night, and Autumn or Winter. A dark pull button can cut progress by 25% about 30% of the time.
- Gather 5 of each material: Radiant Prism Scale, Abyssal Bio-Fluid, Hardened Chitin, Refined Scrap, and Ancient Bone. Farm them across The Deep trench content, then double-check your stacks before the final talk.
- Return to The Blind Oracle / Lower Deep Shrine. Finish Eyeless Truth for 85,000 C$, 16,000 XP, and the Sightless Oracle harpoon.
Sledge sits next door with a different line that ends in the Scrap-Cannon Harpoon Gun. Do not mix their quests. If you still want broader Deep rod progress after the gun, every The Deep rod in Fisch covers that path.
Sightless Oracle stats
Equip Sightless Oracle, shoot roaming or Deep prey, and win the pull. Lineless shots auto-lock nearby targets and grow stronger with accurate strikes. About 50% of catches can roll Refracted at 7×. That is the published package for now; anything beyond auto-lock and Refracted is still guesswork.

Compared with Scrap-Cannon, you trade some raw Power for longer Range, faster Reload, higher Velocity, and a much higher Max Kg. Optional flair like the Oracle Blaster skin (Deep Sea Stylist Corin's first quest) is separate from unlocking the base gun.
