Anime Expeditions Rainman Guide: How to Obtain and Evolve

Rainman comes from the Tidal Siege Summer Capsule

Rainman is tied to the limited event capsule, not the standard or mini banner. Open the current Tidal Siege or Summer event panel and use the shop label shown there.

  1. Earn Sand Dollars. Get them from Tidal Siege wave clears and quests, Summer Fish Fest activities, or the Summer Calendar while it is active. The Tidal Siege event guide covers the wider farming and shop loop.
  2. Reserve the Cloud Disc budget. Keep 10,000 Sand Dollars aside before spending on capsules.
  3. Buy a Summer Capsule. The capsule uses the event currency from the shop.
  4. Open it from Items. Select the capsule and check the Mythic reward pool before pulling.

The pool is shared with other Summer event Mythics, so one capsule does not promise Rainman. Roblox RNG has a tiny sense of humour.

Use the live Evolve panel to turn Rainman into Forecast

After Rainman is in your Units menu, go to the main lobby and open UpgradesEvolve. Select Rainman, inspect the material rows and passive preview, then press Evolve Unit when every requirement is ready.

The current requirement list is:

RequirementAmount
Sprite (Blue)25
Sprite (Green)25
Sprite (Rainbow)1
Cloud Disc1
Gold10,000

The Cloud Disc comes from the event shop. Blue, Green, and Rainbow Sprites can come from Challenges or Sprite crafting. If your panel shows a different recipe, follow the live panel and check your inventory before confirming. The Anime Expeditions evolution guide explains the general Evolve and Quick Craft flow.

Rainman (Forecast) fills lanes with Frog Storm

Rainman (Forecast) gains one new attack and three passives built around a Climate Meter.

Rain Cloud is placed at a selected point within Rainman's range. It deals 15% of Rainman's damage per second to enemies inside and has a 25-second local cooldown.

Heavy Rain starts the Climate Meter at 0 and adds 5 Climate for every Rain Cloud hit. At 100 Climate, Rain Cloud changes into Frog Storm.

Frog Storm drains 20 Climate per second. It stops enemies within 5 range for 5 seconds and turns enemies defeated inside the storm into Poison Frogs. When the meter reaches 0, the storm returns to Rain Cloud.

Poison Frogs stay on the path. When an enemy walks over one, it triggers an explosion for 100% of Rainman's current damage and applies Poison within 3 range.

For practical placement, use a chokepoint where enemies stay close together. They spend more time inside the cloud, and kills during Frog Storm can leave traps on the path.

Check the live event timer, capsule panel, and Evolve preview before each spend. That keeps your limited currency working towards the unit and form you want.

FAQ

Q.

Can you still get Rainman after the Tidal Siege event ends?

Only while the live event panel still offers the Summer Capsule. Rainman is tied to a limited event pool, so check the in-game timer and shop instead of assuming a permanent route.

Q.

What should I do if my Evolve menu shows different Rainman requirements?

Use the current in-game Evolve preview as the final check. Recipes can change with updates, so do not spend materials until the rows match what you can provide.
