Pick traits around the unit's job

A trait is strongest when it fits the unit using it. Monarch can be huge on low-placement or high-cost units, but its one-placement limit is a real tradeoff. Ethereal and Blitz help units attack faster, Solar and Marksman help range, and Deadeye is better when the unit can use critical stats well.

Save rerolls for traits that solve a problem

The four pity traits are the big chase outcomes, and the other traits still have clear uses. Fortune supports farming and upgrade-cost value, Scholar helps with leveling, and the basic tiered traits give simple damage, SPA, or range improvements while you keep building toward rarer rolls.

FAQ

Q.

How many traits are in Anime Vanguards?

Anime Vanguards has 11 listed trait families: Monarch, Ethereal, Deadeye, Solar, Blitz, Marksman, Fortune, Scholar, Vigor, Swift, and Range.

Q.

Which Anime Vanguards traits have pity?

Monarch, Ethereal, Deadeye, and Solar have listed pity values. The pity applies per unit, so it should be checked on the unit you are rerolling.

Q.

Are Vigor, Swift, and Range split into separate rows?

No. They are shown as trait families, with their 1, 2, and 3 values listed in the Tier Details field so the catalog stays easy to compare.

Q.

Is Monarch always the best trait?

Not always. Monarch has a huge damage bonus, but it also limits the unit to one placement. It is usually better on units that already have low placement limits or high value per placement.

Q.

What should I compare before rerolling a trait?

Compare the unit's role first. Damage dealers may want DPS stats, range-based units may value reach, farm units can benefit from Fortune, and leveling projects can use Scholar.
