How stat ranks affect a unit

Damage increases the unit's attack output. Range expands how much of the map it can cover, while SPA changes attack speed, so a lower SPA value is the helpful direction even when the rank itself moves upward.

Each stat rolls separately. A unit can therefore have different grades for Damage, SPA, and Range, and the useful target depends on whether that unit needs raw damage, reach, or faster attacks most.

Normal rolls and full potential

Normal Chance is the base chance for each rank. Full Potential Chance applies when the unit reaches 100% Stat Potential, which requires 5,000 takedowns, and the potential resets after a stat roll.

Full potential removes the low-grade outcomes and heavily shifts the roll toward better ranks. Save that setup for a unit you intend to keep, unless rebuilding takedowns sounds like a particularly slow hobby.

Evolution and stat transfer rules

Evolution raises each stat by one rank once per evolution, but it cannot push Z+ into Godly. Units with more than one evolution can receive the rank increase at each eligible evolution stage.

Mythic-or-higher units can transfer selected stats at the Cyan NPC in the Upgrades area. The sacrificed unit loses its stats, trait, ascensions, and levels, while keeping its shiny state and evolutions. Each transferred stat costs Gold, and the receiving unit's previous value for that stat is replaced.
