Error Code 267 means the game you were playing kicked or banned you. Not Roblox. The game itself.
Your account is fine. You can still join every other game, chat, and spend Robux like normal. The block exists only inside that one experience, and it was placed by the game's creator or their anti-cheat, not by Roblox.
That also means the usual tech advice does nothing here. It is not a connection error, so nothing on your device can fix it. What you do next depends on whether you were kicked once or actually banned.

First, check if you were kicked or actually banned
The fastest check is the rejoin test. Close the error and try to join the game again.
If you get back in, it was a kick, not a ban. Games show code 267 for any scripted kick, so an anti-cheat trip, an AFK timer, or a buggy server script can throw it once and never again. Nothing to fix.
If 267 pops up the moment you try to join, every single time, that game has banned your account.
Before you close the error, read the message on it. Many games use Roblox's official ban system, which shows the reason the creator set and usually says whether the ban is timed or permanent. That message is your best clue about what happened and how long it lasts.
What actually works to get back in
There are only three honest moves, and none of them involve your settings.
1. Wait out a timed ban
If the error message mentions a duration, waiting is the whole fix. Timed bans lift on their own when the time runs out. You do not need to do anything else.
2. Appeal to the game's creator
Only the creator can remove the ban, so the appeal goes to them, not to Roblox. Try these routes in order:
- Message the creator or their group on Roblox.
- Post on their community wall if it is open.
- Use the social links on the experience details page or the creator's profile, such as their Discord server.
Be polite and keep it short. Give your username, ask what the ban was for, and ask if it can be reviewed. Creators are not required to reply or unban anyone, but this is the only path that can work.
One hard truth while you are there: creators cannot refund Robux you spent inside the game, even if the ban never lifts.
3. Skip the Roblox Support ticket
Roblox Support cannot remove creator bans and cannot contact the creator for you. A ticket just costs you days of waiting for that same answer. Save the ticket for problems Roblox actually controls, like account or payment issues.
What wastes your time, and what makes it worse
A lot of older advice treats 267 as a connection problem: use a VPN, clear the cache, reinstall Roblox, disable your antivirus, switch networks.
None of it works. The ban is attached to your account on the game's side. Your device, your network, and your Roblox install have nothing to do with it, so changing them changes nothing.
Switching to an alt account is worse than useless. Alt detection runs in real time, so accounts suspected of dodging a ban get banned too, and they see Error Code 600 instead of 267. Ban evasion also weakens any appeal you send the creator. There is one upside to sitting tight: if the creator unbans your main account, any flagged alts are unbanned with it.
