The Hollow, Roblox's Halloween event, gives out free UGC items, which are avatar accessories made on Roblox. Ten of them need no Robux and no Tickets. Six come from quests in the event hub and in participating games, and four are ghosts that eligible players launch for you to collect.

Earn the Hub Puzzle Rewards in The Hollow
Two of the free items come from puzzles in the event hub. Lord Umberhallow BLOXikin is for the Floor 1 puzzle, and Witches Brew-nado is for the Floor 2 puzzle. Each floor pays its own reward, so finishing one doesn't cover the other. Because these two don't depend on other players, they're the easiest rewards to plan around.
At a high level, each puzzle follows the same route:
- Find the puzzle room on that floor.
- Complete its puzzle.
- Take the relic back to the elevator.
Finish the Four Game Quests for Free UGC Items
The other four quest rewards come from games taking part in the event. Each asks for a goal you reach by playing that game, so your own progress decides when you get it.
The Pumpkin rewards have an extra step that's easy to miss. You collect Pumpkins in the game until you reach the target, then return to The Hollow to claim the item.
Collect Ghost Rewards Launched by Eligible Players
Quest rewards come from your own progress, but ghost rewards depend on another player. An eligible player launches a ghost in the game, and if you're nearby, you walk up to it to claim the item. There's no quest to finish.
The four ghosts can come from different kinds of players, but the collecting step is the same for each. Roblox Plus matters only to the launcher. The player who launches Little Plus-tergeist needs Roblox Plus, but you don't need a subscription to collect it.
Because another player sets a ghost off, you can't schedule one or count on finding one. Treat ghosts as a bonus that may appear while you play, not as a reward to plan your session around.
Tickets Are Separate From the Free UGC Items
Tickets are a separate currency that you spend at the Little Shop of Terror, in the cinema building in the hub. They buy items such as Gourdlord: The Entangled, but none of the ten free items is bought there. You can skip the shop entirely when you're working toward these rewards.
