Villain Invasion is the Update 0.5 limited event in Anime Expeditions. It adds Crow Hideout, a multi-path stage where you clear three Acts, bank Crow Relics, and fight Crow in Crow Mode.
You open it for Villain Coins, event quests, shop mats, and a shot at the Secret unit Crow on the Villain Banner. It is not the same as Villain Hunt. Hunt is where Villain Chests drop from Story, Infinite, Challenge, and Mastery bosses. Invasion is the Crow Hideout loop.
If your roster still feels thin, skim the Anime Expeditions beginners guide before you dive into Hard Acts.

Open Crow Hideout and farm the three Acts
Start from the Events menu, pick Villain Invasion, then enter Crow Hideout. The regular stages are Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3. Crow Mode sits behind them once you have a Crow Relic.
Each clear pays Villain Coins and pushes Daily and Villain Invasion quests. Those quests also feed Villain Battle Pass EXP. Act clears often land around 500 Villain Coins on the results screen, and event units or skins can raise that through Stage Buffs. Check your Stage Buff panel before you queue so you know what bonus you actually have.
Farm the Act you can finish fastest with a clean win. Speed beats stubborn Hard clears when you are only chasing coins. Save Hard for the Act whose drop you want.
Notable stage-tied loot to watch for:
| Crow Hideout stage | What players usually farm |
|---|---|
| Act 1 | Dark Scepter equipment |
| Act 2 | Memory Pendant equipment |
| Act 3 | Crow Relic and Predator's Skull |
Drop chances sit in the stage menu. Treat those rates as the live answer if a write-up and the client disagree.
Daily quests pad the coin pile fast. Complete one Crow Hideout stage, collect 1,000 Villain Coins, or summon 10 times on the Villain Banner for extra Villain Coins and Battle Pass EXP on top of the clear payout.
Use Crow Relics for Crow Mode, then spend Villain Coins
Crow Relics drop from the regular Crow Hideout Acts. You need one to open Crow Mode, the final fight against Crow. Check the entry prompt before you start. The relic may be spent when the run begins, so only queue when your team is ready.
Crow Mode also has its own quest rewards. Clearing it once pays a bigger Villain Coin chunk than a normal Act quest, which makes the relic farm worth repeating once you can finish the fight.
Spend Villain Coins in two places:
- Villain Banner. This is where Secret Crow lives at a tiny rate with a high pity. Crow is not a free stage drop.
- Event Shop. Evolution mats like Cursed Book, Magical Amulet, Crow's Ring, and Jaw Skull sit at 5,000 coins each. Illusion Crow equipment costs 10,000. Theme and banner cosmetics are 5,000.
Crow's Ring matters if you pull Crow and want the Crow (Black Fire) evolution. Shop mats also feed other Update 0.5 evolutions covered in the Anime Expeditions evolution guide.
While you farm Invasion, both Battle Passes keep moving. The normal Battle Pass and the Villain Invasion Battle Pass progress together, so you are not picking one track over the other.
For who to bring into tough Acts, the Anime Expeditions tier list and the units wiki are better stops than guessing placements mid-run. Watch the in-game event timer for when Invasion leaves. It is a limited Update 0.5 package, not a permanent mode.
