Anime Expeditions 5th God Hand Guide: How to Unlock and Evolve Broken Falcon

Updated on September 9, 2026 (about 10 hours ago)

5th God Hand is a Secret unit with Dark and Psychic typings, but you do not unlock it as a separate drop. The current route starts with Broken Falcon: take the Sacrifice path in Eclipsed Infinite, exchange 150 Sacrificed Souls for an Eclipse Shard, then finish the evolution in the lobby.

Here is the full path, including where to find the quest NPC, what to collect, and which choice matters.

How to Get Broken Falcon in Anime Expeditions

Start Crimson Shore in Story mode and enter Act 1. Look behind you at the spawn for the Broken Falcon NPC, then interact with it and accept the Falcon Questline. Broken Falcon is the starting unit for both of its evolution routes, so check your unit inventory after accepting the quest.

The NPC's exact position may not look identical every time. Check behind the spawn first, and scan the rest of Act 1 if the character is not immediately visible.

How to Farm 150 Sacrificed Souls in Eclipsed Infinite

After Broken Falcon is in your inventory, open the Story map selection and look for a map card with the Eclipse indicator or orb. Enter that map's Eclipsed Infinite stage. A normal Infinite stage without the Eclipse indicator will not follow the required path.

During the run, the game presents an upgrade choice every five waves. Select Sacrifice each time instead of Redemption or Neutral. Continue the run through its wave progression and final boss so the selected soul type is awarded, then repeat the process until your inventory shows 150 Sacrificed Souls.

Do not plan around a fixed number of runs. The useful checkpoint is the inventory total, and the Eclipse indicator is the check to make whenever you are choosing a Story map.

How to Get the Eclipse Shard

Return to the Broken Falcon NPC in Crimson Shore Act 1 once you have 150 Sacrificed Souls. Interact with the NPC and submit the Sacrifice choice to spend those Souls. You will receive one Eclipse Shard, which is the special item needed for the 5th God Hand evolution.

Choose the Sacrifice route deliberately. Broken Falcon also has a Redemption evolution route for Silver Falcon, so selecting Redemption will not take you toward 5th God Hand. You can read about that alternative in the Anime Expeditions Silver Falcon guide.

How to Evolve Broken Falcon into 5th God Hand

With the Eclipse Shard, Sprites, and Gold ready, return to the lobby and open the Upgrades section. Enter the Evolution Altar or Evolve area, select Broken Falcon, and choose 5th God Hand as the target form.

Check that the menu shows all six requirements from the table above, then confirm the evolution. Broken Falcon is consumed during the process, and 5th God Hand should appear in your unit inventory when it finishes. If the option is unavailable, check that you have the Eclipse Shard, the required Sprite counts and colors, and 10,000 Gold before trying again.
