Cubert is the Limited Exclusive support from Warrior Saga (Update 1.0) in Anime Expeditions. You claim him by clearing Tower Floor 50, not by banner pity.
He is Hydro + Magical, places for 950 Yen, and has no evolution. His job is attaching Cubert Cubes to allies so they hit harder, reach farther, and occasionally explode for a stun. If Tower still feels far away, what to do first in Anime Expeditions covers the climb before endgame floors.

How to unlock Cubert from Tower Floor 50
Cubert is a Tower season milestone, not a Standard or Mini Banner unit.
- Open the Tower gamemode from the lobby.
- Climb on the Trait / normal Tower track first (unit traits stay on, so the run is usually faster).
- Clear Floor 50.
- Claim Cubert from the season reward for that floor.
Traitless Tower is a separate harder track. Floor 50 can sit on both season tracks, but Traitless is not a shortcut to Cubert. Use it only if you already want that challenge.
Cubert is seasonal / limited. He can leave when the Tower season rotates, so grab him while the milestone is live. There is no solid public end date, so treat that as soft urgency, not a fixed day on the calendar.
Floor 50 often lands on a late map with a tough boss (players often name Fairy King Forest and Excellence). You do not need a full stage walkthrough: clear the floor and take the unit. Other Update 1 chases like how to get Prodigy or how to get Carrot use quests and banners. Cubert is pure Tower height.
Cubert’s kit, deploy cost, and upgrades
Deploy: Exclusive / Limited Exclusive, Hydro + Magical, 950 Yen to place. Some unit cards list up to 3 placements. If your roster UI differs, trust the live unit panel.
No evolution. Cubert stops at base form. There is no evolved name, no trial material, and no evolve recipe. For other units’ sprite loop and lobby Evolve steps, use how to evolve units in Anime Expeditions. For Cubert, invest with stat rerolls, stat transfers, traits, and equipment. Anime Expeditions stat rerolls covers that path cleanly.
Cube Summon (ability)
Select another unit on the map and summon a Cubert Cube on them. Each cast spends 1 Cubert Meter / charge.
- Max 2 Cubes per Cubert placement
- Max 6 Cubes global on the whole map
- Ability charges: +1 every 10 seconds, capacity 2
Park cubes on the allies you want to feed. Cubert is support-first, not your main carry.
Cube Link
Attached cubes grant +5% Damage and +3% Range. Those bonuses stack additively when cubes sit within range of each other, so clustering cubes on nearby carries stacks the buffs instead of spreading them thin.
Cubes (attacks)
Cubert Cubes attack on their own. Each hit deals 35% of Cubert’s current damage. If a patch rewrites the tooltip to use the attached ally’s damage instead, trust the live unit panel.
Cube Overload
The cube meter starts at 0. It gains +1 when the attached unit lands a regular attack. At 3 stacks the cube explodes, applies stun, and deals 15% of this unit’s current damage. If your tooltip shows a different explode percent after a patch, use the in-game number.
Soft play notes
Place Cubert where his range covers the carries you plan to cube. Stack cubes near each other when you want the additive Cube Link bonuses. Trait advice for Cubert is split across the community, so keep “best trait” optional and check your own roster tools. For soft meta context, see the Anime Expeditions tier list.
Cubert is a time-limited Tower Exclusive with a unique ally-cube kit and no evolve grind. Clear Floor 50 on the Trait track while the season is up, place him for 950 Yen, and feed cubes to the units doing the real damage.
