How to Reroll Stats in Anime Expeditions

Updated on July 17, 2026 (about 5 hours ago)

In Anime Expeditions, every unit has three potential lines: Damage, Range, and SPA (attack speed). Each line rolls a grade, from rare top-end Z down toward weak F results. Better grades push the unit harder. SPA works backwards: a strong SPA line lowers SPA and makes attacks land faster.

You change those grades at the Stat Potential station with Stat Reroll items. Stat Lock items hold a grade you refuse to lose. Stat Transfer moves good rolls from one unit to another, but the unit you sacrifice pays a hard reset.

This is only unit potential. Trait rerolls use Trait Crystals at the trait stand. Equipment rerolls use Equipment Reroll and Equipment Lock. Different bags, different stations.

How to Reroll Stats in Anime Expeditions

Walk to Stat Potential, then reroll (or lock) your unit

  1. Open Stat Potential. Walk to the Stat Potential area, or use the area button on the left side of the screen.
  2. Press E, then open Stat Reroll. Interact at the station and choose Stat Reroll.
  3. Pick the unit. Select the unit whose potential you want to change.
  4. Lock any line you must keep. Use the lock control next to that stat before you roll. Each locked line costs 1 Stat Lock.
  5. Hit Reroll. Spend a Stat Reroll. Every unlocked line rolls again. Locked lines stay put.

A full roll without locks rewrites Damage, Range, and SPA together. That is fine when all three are junk. It hurts when one line is already great and you forgot the lock.

Save locks for grades you will not risk: SS, SSS, Z, or whatever floor you set for that unit. Burning a Stat Lock on a mid B so you can chase a tiny SPA upgrade is how the bag empties with nothing to show for it.

What each stat tier does, and how to get more Stat Rerolls

Each grade has a Damage, SPA, and Range band plus a roll chance. Treat the table as a snapshot. Patches can move the numbers. High tiers add Damage and Range, and cut SPA (faster attacks). Low tiers do the opposite and can even hurt you.

Tier Damage SPA Range Roll chance
Z +17.5% to +20% −12.5% to −15% +12.5% to +15% 0.15%
SSS +14.9% to +17.4% −9.9% to −12.4% +9.9% to +12.4% 0.8%
SS +11.1% to +14.8% −6.1% to −9.8% +6.1% to +9.8% 1.75%
S +9.1% to +11% −4.1% to −6% +4.1% to +6% 2.2%
A+ +8.1% to +9% −3.1% to −4% +3.1% to +4% 3.25%
A +7.1% to +8% −2.1% to −3% +2.1% to +3% 4%
A− +6.1% to +7% −1.1% to −2% +1.1% to +2% 5.25%
B+ +5.1% to +6% −0.1% to −1% +0.1% to +1% 8.75%
B +4.1% to +5% 0% to +0.9% −0.9% to 0% 10%
B− +3.1% to +4% +1% to +1.9% −1.9% to −1% 13%
C+ +2.1% to +3% +2% to +2.9% −2.9% to −2% 15.5%
C +0.1% to +2% +3% to +4.9% −4.9% to −3% 23.5%
C− −2.6% to 0% +5% to +7.6% −7.6% to −5% 7.55%
F −5% to −2.5% +7.5% to +10% −10% to −7.5% 4.3%

Z sits at 0.15% per line. There is no fixed roll count that guarantees it. Triple Z (all three lines Z in one spin) is a real achievement, not a goal you need for normal clears.

Stock Stat Reroll and Stat Lock from free loops first. Redeem Anime Expeditions codes when free items drop into the mail or bag. Grab daily and weekly challenges, quests, calendar rewards, and story progress. Check Gold shops, event shops, raid or general shops, Spirit City, and the Wandering Trader when stock appears. Store bundles work if you pay. AFK rewards can toss extras, but treat that as a bonus, not a farm plan.

If you want live player counts while you plan a grind session, the Anime Expeditions stats page tracks the main TIME CHAMBER experience.

Move good stats with Stat Transfer

Stat Transfer is for when a fodder unit rolled strong potential and your main unit did not. You move selected lines over, then the sacrifice unit pays the bill.

  1. Open Stat Potential again. Same station as rerolls.
  2. Choose Stat Transfer. Switch from Stat Reroll to the transfer option.
  3. Set sacrifice on the left, target on the right. Sacrifice is the unit you give up. Target is the unit that receives the grades.
  4. Pick which stats to move. You can transfer some lines only, not the full set.
  5. Confirm Transfer Stats. The move spends Gold. Check the confirm screen in-game for the cost before you commit.

After a transfer, the sacrifice unit fully resets trait, stat potential, and level. Partial transfers still wipe the sacrifice the same way. Never put a unit you still play on the left slot.

Use transfer when the sacrifice is true fodder and the target is your long-term carry. If both units still matter, keep rolling both instead of wiping one for a single set of grades.

FAQ

Q.

How many Stat Rerolls do you need for a Z grade in Anime Expeditions?

There is no fixed number. Z sits around 0.15% per line, so it can take a few rolls or a long dry streak. Lock any line you already like before you keep spinning.

Q.

When should you use Stat Locks?

Use a Stat Lock on a grade you refuse to lose before the next reroll. SS, SSS, and Z are the usual keep line. Each locked stat costs one Stat Lock.

Q.

Can you transfer only some stats between units?

Yes. Stat Transfer lets you choose which lines move. The sacrifice unit still fully resets trait, potential, and level even if you only move one or two stats.

Q.

Do you need Triple Z on a unit?

No. Triple Z is possible and tied to achievement language in the game, but strong mixed grades are enough for normal play. Chase it only if you enjoy the long luck grind.
