Strawberry Tortle is a Legendary Releaser pet in Adopt Me. The normal route is to release unwanted pets for Pet Releaser Tickets, spend those Tickets on a Basic Egg or Crystal Egg, and hatch it. The pet was added with the Backpack Storage & Releaser Refresh update on August 21, 2026.
Tickets buy an egg, not a guaranteed Strawberry Tortle. The egg pool can change after an update, so check the live shop labels if your game shows a different set of pets.
Strawberry Tortle is a Legendary Releaser pet

The pet comes from the Pet Releaser egg route, not a direct purchase from Jane. You need to turn spare pets into Tickets first, then take your chance on one of the two Releaser Eggs.
Release spare pets for Tickets, then hatch a Basic or Crystal Egg
For the August 21 update route, Jane's Ticket Exchange is in the Nursery's Pet Releaser room. Roblox can change room layouts, so follow the Pet Releaser sign and the egg labels in-game if the booth has moved.
- Enter the Pet Releaser room. Go to the Nursery and find Jane's Ticket Exchange.
- Choose a pet to release. Release only a pet you truly no longer want because the choice is permanent.
- Claim your Pet Releaser Tickets. These Tickets are the currency for the two Releaser Eggs.
- Buy an egg. Pick a Basic Egg for 400 Tickets or a Crystal Egg for 4,000 Tickets.
- Hatch the egg. Strawberry Tortle is a chance from the egg pool, so no number of hatches guarantees one.
The Silverback Gorilla route explains the same Pet Releaser system, while the Chihuahua route shows the Nursery and Jane path with another pet.
Choose between the two egg odds or trade for one
The reported Strawberry Tortle rates below apply to each egg in the Releaser Egg pool from the August 21 update. Egg pools can change after later updates, so check the live labels before spending Tickets.
| Egg | Cost | Strawberry Tortle chance |
|---|---|---|
| Basic Egg | 400 Tickets | 0.01% per egg |
| Crystal Egg | 4,000 Tickets | 0.1% per egg |
Crystal Egg has 10 times the per-egg chance, but it also costs 10 times as many Tickets. That makes the simple chance per Ticket roughly equivalent. Basic gives you more hatches for the same Ticket total, while Crystal gives each single hatch a better chance. Neither egg is a guaranteed route, and the reported rates do not establish a pity counter.
Trading is another option if you would rather skip the Ticket grind. You can trade with another player for Strawberry Tortle, but offers change over time, so check every item before confirming.
