How to get the Chihuahua in Adopt Me

Updated on August 17, 2026 (about 3 hours ago)

The Chihuahua is an Ultra-Rare pet in Adopt Me from the Tux & Shepherd on the Stray Case update on August 14, 2026. Official notes also nickname it Vit Ness.

It is a small brown dog with large upright ears, cream face and chest markings, and a curled fluffy tail. You hatch it from Pet Releaser eggs, pick one up during Admin Abuse when that egg is awarded, or trade with another player.

There is no Bucks or Robux price for the Chihuahua itself. The Tuxedo Cat from the same update is the separate 200 Robux shop pet.

Your main Ticket path runs through the Nursery. Open the Pet Releaser room (across from VIP) and talk to Jane.

Release pets you do not need for Tickets. Releases are permanent, so keep anything you still want. Claim the pile at the ticket machine, then buy a Basic Egg or Crystal Egg at her stall and hatch it.

The same Jane Ticket shop is how players farm eggs for pets like the Silverback Gorilla. If you are still learning homes and the Nursery layout, the Adopt Me beginner guide covers the basics.

Those percentages are the chance the egg lands an Ultra-Rare, not a guaranteed Chihuahua. Several Ultra-Rares share each pool, and the Chihuahua is one of them. Crystal costs more Tickets, but it hits that Ultra-Rare tier far more often than Basic.

Admin Abuse is a live event that usually runs Saturday around 9 a.m. Pacific. Free eggs and other rewards can rotate week to week, so treat the Admin Abuse Egg as a bonus path when that egg is awarded and the Chihuahua is still among its Ultra-Rares.

Trading skips the grind if someone else already has extras. The Chihuahua sits with the rest of the Adopt Me pets once you own it, and the eggs live on the Adopt Me eggs list. Other pet how-tos, like the Forest Sprite and Ruddy Duck, follow the same hatch-or-trade pattern.

Neon and Mega Neon Chihuahua

Neon and Mega Neon use normal Adopt Me crafting at the Neon Cave. They are not Ticket shop unlocks.

Grow four Full Grown Chihuahuas and craft them into one Neon. Grow four Luminous Neon Chihuahuas (16 base pets total) for a Mega Neon.

The Neon glows orange on the inner ears, chest fur, nose, feet, and underside of the tail. Mega Neon cycles rainbow colors on those same spots.

FAQ

Q.
