Once you're inside, your job is catching lightning. The steps are:
- Pick up five Forks in a Bottle next to Bore.
- Place them on the ground when a storm appears.
- Collect the Lightning in a Bottle that forms when lightning strikes one of your placed Forks.
Each Fork that lightning hits becomes one Lightning in a Bottle, so the storm is the step that does the real work.
Trading Lightning in a Bottle for Bait and Using It in Your Pet Pen
Take your Lightning in a Bottle back to Bore's Cave and trade three of them for either Cyclone Sponge Bait or Storm Chip Cookie Bait. Both cost the same, so the choice depends on which exclusive pet you're after. The free, unlimited supply of baits is gone, so you'll need to keep collecting Lightning in a Bottle between trades.
Place your bait into the lure in your pet pen, then wait two hours. Each bait works the same way, so the timing is the same whichever one you choose.
The Lightning Dimension Portal's Move to the Sky Castle
The Adoption Island spot is where the portal starts, not where it stays. The portal is set to move to the Sky Castle, and once it's there, use the Sky Castle entrance instead. The move matters because the portal stays open permanently once it's at the Sky Castle, which makes it the lasting way in.
