Adopt Me Kiwi Kiwi Pet Guide: How to Get It

Updated on August 25, 2026 (about 13 hours ago)

Kiwi Kiwi is the new Legendary pet from Adopt Me's Releaser Eggs. It is separate from the older 2023 Rare Kiwi, so the two names should not send you down the same path. To get Kiwi Kiwi, release spare pets for Tickets, buy a Basic Egg or Crystal Egg, and hatch it. Trading is the other route.

What is Kiwi Kiwi in Adopt Me?

Kiwi Kiwi was added with the Backpack Storage & Releaser Refresh on August 21, 2026. Its round brown body and green kiwi face make the doubled name pretty literal.

The useful distinction is the route: Kiwi Kiwi is a Legendary Releaser pet. The older Kiwi is a separate Rare pet with a different acquisition method, so old Kiwi instructions will not get you Kiwi Kiwi.

Release spare pets for Tickets, then hatch a Basic or Crystal Egg

Tickets come from releasing pets through the Pet Releaser. Releasing is permanent, so check the pet name twice before you confirm. A spare duplicate is a much safer sacrifice than the pet you still use.

  1. Find Jane. If your current layout is unchanged, go to the Pet Releaser room inside the Nursery. Follow the in-game Pet Releaser sign if the room or NPC label looks different.
  2. Choose a pet to release. Pick only a pet you are happy to lose permanently.
  3. Collect your Tickets. Finish the release through the Pet Releaser, then open the Ticket Exchange.
  4. Buy an egg. A Basic Egg costs 400 Tickets. A Crystal Egg costs 4,000 Tickets.
  5. Hatch the egg. Kiwi Kiwi is a chance from the Releaser Egg pool, not a guaranteed reward.

Reported current-pool values put Kiwi Kiwi at 0.25% from a Basic Egg and 5.9% from a Crystal Egg. The current update confirms the Ticket-to-egg route but does not list those individual rates, so treat them as a snapshot rather than a promise of a hatch. Check the live egg panel before spending because pool values can change.

Choose the egg you can afford or trade for Kiwi Kiwi

Crystal costs 10 times as many Tickets as Basic, but its reported per-egg Kiwi Kiwi chance is roughly 23.6 times higher. That makes Crystal the higher-cost, higher-odds option, not a guarantee. Basic is the gentler choice when Tickets are tight. Crystal makes more sense when you can afford the larger roll.

If you would rather skip the egg odds, player trading is the alternative route. Confirm that the pet is named Kiwi Kiwi before accepting a trade. The older Kiwi's similar name is where the trouble starts.

The Silverback Gorilla Pet Releaser route shows the same Ticket-and-egg system, while the Chihuahua hatch-or-trade route gives another example of a Releaser pet acquisition.

Four full-grown Kiwi Kiwis can be combined in the Neon Cave to make a Neon. A Mega Neon needs four Neon Kiwi Kiwis, which means 16 fully grown base pets.
