The Hollow badge in 99 Nights in the Forest comes from the Void, a limited-time area that opens during The Hollow, Roblox's Halloween event. To earn it, reach the Void and collect all 20 Red Flowers in a single run without dying. If you're new to the game, it's a survival game where you chop wood, keep a fire going, and try to last 99 nights against monsters.
| Requirement | What you need |
|---|---|
| Campfire | Upgraded to Level 3 |
| Map | Crafted and placed at camp |
| Entry | Hollow button, then Find the Void, then the portal |
| Red Flowers | All 20, collected in one run without dying |
| Reward | The Hollow badge, plus event Tickets claimed at The Hollow Hub |
Upgrade Your Campfire to Level 3 Before the Void Opens
Your campfire is the center of camp, so it's the first thing to upgrade. Chop down trees, bring the wood back, and feed it to the fire. Each time it gets enough fuel, it levels up, so keep it fed until it reaches Level 3, because the Void stays locked until then.
Craft a Map and Place It at Camp
Craft a Map at the crafting bench. Set it down at camp, since that's where you'll use it to find your way into the Void.
Enter the Void Through the Hollow Button
With the campfire at Level 3 and your Map placed, click the Hollow button in the top-left corner of the screen and choose Find the Void. Use your map to find the Void, walk to it, and step into the portal to be teleported inside.
Use Lantern Zones to Stay Safe in the Void
Lantern Zones are the only safe areas inside the Void. When you arrive, you start near a map and a lantern. That map marks all 20 Red Flowers and every Lantern Zone, so you can plan around them from the start.

Stepping outside a Lantern Zone is where the danger starts. Enemies, including the Owl and the Deer, attack once you're out in the open. Plan your route as a series of hops from one lantern to the next, and keep the open ground between them short. Check the map before each leg so you know where the next lantern is.
Pick the Right Upgrade After Every Three Red Flowers
Every time you collect 3 Red Flowers, the game offers an upgrade. Over a full run of 20, that's six choices. The options are:
- Speed after picking a flower: You get a speed boost after collecting a Red Flower, which helps you reach your next flower faster.
- Speed after leaving lanterns: You get a speed boost once you step out of a Lantern Zone, which helps you cross the open ground between lanterns.
- Extra lanterns: More Lantern Zones spawn around the map, giving you more safe stops and shorter gaps between them.
- One-hit trees: Trees go down in a single hit. Some Red Flowers are behind trees, so this saves you from chopping your way to them.
- Fewer wolves: Wolves spawn less often, so there are fewer threats on your route.
- Fewer cultists: Cultists target you less, so fewer enemies chase you.
The best pick depends on how you're moving. If you're hopping between lanterns, extra lanterns and speed after leaving lanterns make those crossings easier. If you keep running into flowers behind trees, one-hit trees is the pick that saves the most time. Fewer wolves and fewer cultists help when you want fewer threats to plan around.
Collect All 20 Red Flowers in One Run to Earn the Hollow Badge
Inside the Void, your goal is to collect 20 Red Flowers, and all of them have to come from the same run. The badge is awarded the moment you pick up the 20th flower. Since this is a limited-time event, the badge can only be earned while The Hollow is running.

After you've earned the badge, head to The Hollow Hub to claim your event Tickets.
Avoid Death and Idle Time That Send You Back to the Forest
Two things can cut your attempt short. Dying before you've collected all 20 flowers wipes the run and sends you back to the main forest. To try again, you'll need to go back through the entry steps.
Idle time is the other trap. Standing still for too long can eject you to the main forest, even while you're inside a Lantern Zone. Keep moving toward your next flower rather than waiting in one spot, and keep an eye on enemies, since a single hit that kills you ends the run.
