Ghostwood seeds come from Haunted Chests, which you can earn through the Headless Horseman rewards during the Halloween event. The seed is a rare drop inside those chests, so it takes luck and patience. Grow a Garden is a Roblox farming game where you grow crops and sell their fruit for Sheckles, the in-game money, and Ghostwood is one of the most valuable crops in the event.

How to earn Haunted Chests from the Headless Horseman rewards
The Headless Horseman rewards are one way to earn Haunted Chests, and they follow a short sequence of steps during the event:
- Return the Headless Horseman's head. Every player on the server is tasked with retrieving it.
- Once the head is back, the Horseman rides around the map and scatters blue wisps.
- Collect 50 blue wisps to earn a reward.
- Claim the reward. It may include one or more Haunted Chests.
- Wait 30 minutes, then repeat. Each reward can be claimed every 30 minutes while the event is running.
The reward is a chance rather than a guaranteed chest, and the number of chests can change from claim to claim. That's why it pays to claim every reward you can, since each claim gives you another shot at a chest.
Opening Haunted Chests for a Ghostwood seed
Open each Haunted Chest to see what it gives you. Ghostwood is the rarest item in the chest, so most openings won't include the seed. With odds that low, a long run of empty openings is normal, so don't read it as a sign that something has gone wrong.
How to plant a Ghostwood seed in Grow a Garden
Once you have the seed, plant it in your garden. Over time it matures into a full-grown plant that routinely produces fruit for you to pick.
Ghostwood is multi-harvest, which means the plant stays in your garden after you pick its fruit. Instead of a one-time payout, you get a steady source of income from the same plant.
How much a Ghostwood fruit is worth
The base value in the table applies to a fruit at its 4 kg base weight. Weight has a large effect on price, because the value formula squares the fruit's weight ratio. That means the price grows faster than the weight does. Mutations and friend bonuses also change the final price, so treat the base value as a starting point rather than a fixed number.
