Pumpkin Ghoul is a Divine pet from the second part of the Halloween event in Grow a Garden, the Roblox farming game. You get it from the Trick-or-Treat house in the Halloween area by paying Candy Corn, the event currency, for a knock on its door. It also has a passive ability, Ghoul Gash, which affects the fruit in your garden.

How to Get Pumpkin Ghoul from the Trick-or-Treat House in Grow a Garden
The Trick-or-Treat house is part of the event's second half, and you'll find it in the Halloween area. Each knock follows the same three steps:
- Walk to the house and go up to its front door.
- Interact with the door and pay the Candy Corn cost shown for that knock.
- Wait for the result. A treat gives you a random reward from the pool, and a trick plays a short jumpscare with no reward.
Pumpkin Ghoul is one of the rewards in the treat pool, so a knock only has a chance at it when it comes up as a treat. The result is random each time, and paying the cost doesn't guarantee a reward.

You need Candy Corn before you can knock, and the event gives you two main ways to earn it. Selling Halloween plants at the Sinister Sales stand earns Candy Corn, and contributing fruit to the Witch's Brew does too. Every knock spends it, so build up your supply before you start.
Trick-or-Treat Candy Corn Costs, Refunds, and Odds for Pumpkin Ghoul
The first knock after a reset costs 10 Candy Corn. Each knock after that costs more, because the price doubles with every knock, so the cost climbs quickly. The price drops back to 10 Candy Corn every eight hours.
That reset is your main way to control spending. If the next knock costs more than you planned to spend, wait for the reset rather than paying a higher price to keep going. Set a Candy Corn budget before your first knock so a rare pet doesn't pull you past it.
Each knock is a treat 80% of the time and a trick the rest of the time. A trick refunds 25% of that knock's cost, which softens a bad result without covering the full cost.
The 80% and the 1% answer different questions. The 80% is how often a knock pays out a reward at all. The 1% is Pumpkin Ghoul's share of the reward pool, and it only comes into play when a knock is a treat. That means any single knock gives less than a 1% chance at the pet, and no number of knocks is guaranteed to bring it.

What Ghoul Gash Does for Your Plants and Pets
Ghoul Gash is Pumpkin Ghoul's passive, and it runs on a timer. Every 20 minutes, it picks four random fruits in your garden, and each one has a 10% chance to gain a Rot or Bloom mutation. These are baseline values; check your pet's tooltip for its own stats.
The two mutations do different things:
- Bloom advances the growth of a random plant in your garden by two hours.
- Rot increases the age of a random Halloween-type pet by one year.
Both effects pick their target at random, so you can't aim them at a specific plant or pet.
