Start a Round and Find the Cauldron
Open Survive Overnight in a Mega Store from its Roblox game page and let it load. Then step through a portal labeled "Start new game!" to enter a round.
The Cauldron sits on a raised platform near the store entrance. If you lose track of it, look for the food-stocked aisle. The Cauldron is just beyond that aisle, up a set of wooden stairs. Learn that route early, because you'll be walking back to the Cauldron all night.
Find Candy in Chests and Daytime Coffins
Pumpkin Chests only open at night, so use daylight to learn where they are. Walk the three chest spots while it's light, so you know where to head once night falls. These are common spots, not a complete list, so keep an eye out for chests elsewhere in the store.
A single chest can hand over several candy at once, and they may all be the same type. The coffins in the graveyard can be searched during the day, so search them before night falls. Interact with a coffin to lift its lid. Some hold candy right away, while others open into a secret room with one or more Pumpkin Chests you can loot after dark.
Survive the Night and Deposit Candy
Employees come out after dark and can surround you quickly. Their candy drops aren't guaranteed, so fighting is a poor way to collect candy. Fight only when you have no other way out, and grab a weapon such as a Katana before night starts.
- Keep stamina up. Food and drinks restore stamina, so eat and drink whenever you find them.
- Give your health time. It regenerates slowly, and only when you aren't taking damage. After a hit, break away instead of walking straight back in.
Equip a candy and press G to drop it into the Cauldron. Each candy takes its own inventory slot, so you'll likely need several trips back. Drop off what you're carrying when your slots fill up, rather than holding everything until the end of the night.
Above the Cauldron, a display shows one counter for each candy type. Each counter climbs as you add its type, and once a type reaches its target, its counter reads Full. The Cauldron checks each type on its own, so a Full on one doesn't cover the others. You need all three counters to read Full before you stir.
Candy from chests and employees is random, so you may end up with plenty of one type and too few of another.

Once all three counters read Full, stand at the Cauldron and hold E to stir. Stay still until the stir finishes. Stirring earns The Hollow - A Tasty Brew badge.
