How to Complete the D.R.E.D-7 Rod Quest in Roblox Fisch

To unlock the D.R.E.D-7 rod in Fisch, the fishing game on Roblox, you complete a questline from Dr. Anton, a scientist who stands inside the Underground Music Venue. The questline has five stages that always come in the same order, and each one asks for a specific purchase, catch, or scan. Complete all five and the rod unlocks.

Start the Fisch Questline by Talking to Dr. Anton

Dr. Anton is inside the Underground Music Venue, and that's where the questline starts. Talk to him to begin, and the first stage will be the Power Source. Most stages finish with a report back to him, so expect to return to him several times as you work through the list.

You earn Glorp Bux by selling him Gleebous-mutated fish. Gleebous is a mutation, meaning a special trait a fish can carry, so you're looking for fish with that trait rather than any catch.

1. Catch Gleebous-mutated fish in Roslit Bay.
2. Sell them to Sophisticated Glorp until you have 55 Glorp Bux.
3. Buy one Power Source from him.
4. Take it back to Dr. Anton and report back.

Charge the D.R.E.D-7 Machine by Catching 115 Electric Fish

The machine needs a charge, so the second stage asks for 115 electric fish. Three mutation names count toward that total: Electric, Electric Shock, and Electrified. They all add to the same count, so you can mix them. Each catch shows its mutation name, which tells you whether it counts.

Two routes cover this:

• Electric: Fish at Grand Reef, or use a rod with the Storming enchantment while it's raining.
• Electric Shock: Use a Zeus Rod and fish in the pool created by its Thunderstorm ability.

Because the three names share one total, these two routes are enough to complete the stage. Pick whichever one you can reach and build your count from there.

Trigger a Cursed Storm to Catch 9 Cursed Fish

Cursed fish come from the Cursed Storm event, so you'll need to start one first. A Cursed Storm Totem can trigger it. Once the storm is running, the server announces the pool where it's happening, and that's the pool you fish in.

1. Use a Cursed Storm Totem to trigger a Cursed Storm.
2. Read the server announcement for the pool it names.
3. Fish in that announced pool, not the separate FischFright pool.
4. Check each catch's mutation name and keep fishing until you have 9 Cursed fish.

Catch the Four Shiny or Sparkling Specimens for Calibration

The Calibration Specimens stage is about rare variants. The scientist needs a Shiny or Sparkling version of four of the sea's mightiest creatures, one of each. A regular catch of any of them won't count, so every fish needs to be the rarer variant.

• A Shiny or Sparkling Stormy Colossal Blue Dragon
• A Shiny or Sparkling Igneous Colossal Ancient Dragon
• A Shiny or Sparkling Obsidian Frostwyrm
• A Shiny or Sparkling Soultouched Leviathan

You only need one of each. Once all four are caught, report back to Dr. Anton.

Fish for 5 Battery Casings in the Mineshaft

Radio Power needs 5 Battery Casings, and the Mineshaft is where you fish for them. Keep casting there until you have five. The casings are for the scientist, so bring all five to Dr. Anton once you have them.

Scan Every Databank in Order Before Time Runs Out

The last stage has a timer. Return to Moosewood to start the scan, then scan the scientist's databanks across the islands. They have to be scanned in order, and the whole set needs to be done before the Code Decrypter destabilizes.

1. Return to Moosewood to start the scan.
2. Follow the in-game markers in the order they're shown.
3. Scan each databank before the timer runs out.
4. Once the final databank is scanned, the D.R.E.D-7 rod unlocks.
