Slayers 2 Tamari Unlock and Moves Guide

Updated on October 4, 2026 (about 17 hours ago)

Finding the Tamari Orb is only the first part of the unlock. You need Demon status, the correct Orb route, and four Core Training tasks in order. Core Training gives you Tamari itself, while its move nodes remain in the Skill Tree. If another Evil Art is equipped, you must reset it before the Orb can be used.

This guide follows the current tracker locations, including the Boulder Split below Windy Peak and the Mizunoto route at Mistfall Harbor. It also separates the live unlock route from pre-release move footage, so you know which Tamari Meteor details are safe to use as a tutorial.

How to unlock Tamari in Slayers 2

You need two things before the training route can start: Demon status and a Tamari Orb. The Orb can come from Muzan's Blood Demon Art power roll or chest loot.

  1. Become a Demon. If you still need this prerequisite, follow the Slayers 2 beginner progression guide.
  2. Get a Tamari Orb. For Muzan's route, use the Biwa Bell to reach him, choose "Give me your power," and put the Orb in your inventory. Chest loot can also grant the Orb.
  3. If another Evil Art is equipped, reset it before you use the Orb. The Orb cannot replace an active art.
  4. Equip or use the Tamari Orb and confirm Tamari Core Training. The game then adds the four-task tracker to your objectives.

What to do if another Evil Art is already equipped

Muzan refuses a new Evil Art orb while another art is equipped in Slayers 2

An active Evil Art blocks the Tamari Orb. You have two ways to clear it:

  • Redeem ARTRESET. Join the Ouw Productions group, open the code screen from the main menu, and redeem ARTRESET. Code pages listed it as active on October 5, 2026, with one Evil Art reset. Codes can rotate, so an expired code is not a sign that the Orb is broken.
  • Use the Shop reset. Open Shop > Resets > Reset Evil Art. The reset page currently lists 7 Ore or 100 Robux, with 80 Robux for Roblox Plus. Prices can change.

After the reset succeeds, return to your inventory and use the Tamari Orb. Confirm the Core Training prompt instead of trying to equip the Orb over another art.

Complete Tamari Core Training in order

The current tracker keeps the next exercise locked until the previous row registers. Complete these stops in order and check the tracker after every activity.

Cup Training at Butterfly Estate

Go to the main training building at Butterfly Estate, in the room next to the meditation area, and start Cup Training. A ball or item moves under the shuffled cups. Keep track of it and select the cup that contains it.

The task uses a 0/10 counter and three hearts. Complete ten successful selections, then open the Tamari tracker and make sure the Cup Training row is marked complete before leaving.

Push Ups at the Butterfly Estate mat

The Push Ups task is also at Butterfly Estate. Enter the red-floored house, find the dark training mat, and interact with the Pushups prompt.

Activate the white circle when the inner ring meets the outer ring. Keep matching the timing prompt until the progress reaches 100%, then check that the Push Ups row has registered.

Boulder Split below Windy Peak

For Boulder Split, go to the rope-wrapped boulders below Windy Peak and start Boulder Split Training. Follow the moving circles by dragging along the displayed path, then survive the timer shown by the minigame. Let the finish sequence play before checking the tracker.

Do not use the nearby fenced Boulder Push course. Boulder Push is a different training activity and will not complete the Boulder Split row.

Defeat five Mizunotos at Mistfall Harbor

Follow the active Mizunoto marker to Mistfall Harbor. Take the red-torii and dock route, then defeat five Mizunoto Slayer enemies. Watch the named Defeat Mizunotos 0/5 counter so you can confirm that the right enemies are being counted.

The trainee boss is not a substitute for these enemies. When the counter reaches five, check that the final tracker row registers. Completing Core Training unlocks the Tamari art.

How to unlock Tamari moves in Slayers 2

Core Training unlocks Tamari, not the full moveset. Open M and choose Skill Tree, select the Tamari branch, then spend Skill Points and meet each node's mastery requirement. Equip Tamari in a combat slot after the art is unlocked.

The V node currently lists 40 Tamari Mastery, and the B node currently lists 53 Tamari Mastery. Skill Point costs can change with the client, so check each live Skill Tree node instead of relying on an older fixed-cost table.

Tamari moves and the Meteor live-status warning

These are the five current Tamari move names and their key slots. The table keeps the live unlock requirements separate from the pre-release descriptions that may have changed.

MoveKeyUnlock note
Spinning ThrowZUnlock its node in the Tamari Skill Tree.
Tamari DunkXThe pre-release preview shows a downward explosive impact. Check the live node for its current behavior.
Piercing KickCUnlock its node in the Tamari Skill Tree.
Tamari MeteorVThe V node currently lists 40 Tamari Mastery. The preview shows a slam, launch, and cursor-directed drop, but live V behavior may instead be a long-range turret.
Spiraling ShotBThe B node currently lists 53 Tamari Mastery. It also has a separate Sumari requirement.

Treat the preview footage as a visual reference, not a guaranteed live-client control guide. In particular, do not assume that the cursor-drop Meteor sequence still matches the live V move. Use the current Skill Tree node for costs and requirements.

How to get Spiraling Shot from Sumari

Spiraling Shot has a separate boss route. Be a Demon, find Sumari at night on the west side of Bamboo Grove, and follow the red-torii route to the fight. Defeat Sumari and check the launch bar for Spiraling Shot.

The listing is not a permanent drop-rate promise, so check the live reward information when you make the run. Core Training will not award this move by itself.

Once the final Core Training row is complete, use the Tamari branch in the Skill Tree for the standard move progression. Make the Sumari trip separately if Spiraling Shot is the move you are missing.
