Sharkfang is the Mythic unit tied to Anime Expeditions' Tidal Siege event. Fish for a Sharktooth Conch, activate it during the event run, then check the reward panel after the storm. Once you have the unit, the Evolve portal lets you make Sharkfang (Abyssal). Event labels and material panels can change, so use the live in-game text as the final word.
Fish in Tidal Siege until you can activate Sharktooth Conch
Use the live event buttons in this order: Events → Tidal Siege → Event Gamemode → Event Mode, then choose a stage. Some event menus may call the run Infinite, so follow the label shown by your current event menu.
Fish at the water pools with a rod while the wave defense is active. The Anime Expeditions fishing guide covers rod progression if you need help with the minigame.
- Enter Tidal Siege Event Mode. Start the event run from the Tidal Siege menu.
- Fish until you obtain a Sharktooth Conch. It is a chance-based find, so one fishing session may not be enough.
- Activate the Conch on the map. Use it during the run after you obtain it.
- Clear the storm that follows. Read the reward panel after the clear to see whether Sharkfang is included. Activating the Conch makes the unit reward eligible for that run, but one clear is not a guaranteed Sharkfang drop.
The event also has a separate Defeat Sharkfang Boss objective. Keep it separate from the Conch reward check when you review event progress.
If your fishing menu shows Auto Rod at Wave 150, it skips the fishing minigame and reels in units and items. Check the live unlock text before planning around it. The Anime Expeditions Tidal Siege guide covers the wider event flow.
Use the Evolve portal to make Sharkfang (Abyssal)
Once Sharkfang is in your unit list, open the Evolve portal and select it. The evolution panel lists these requirements:
- 25 Blue Sprites
- 25 Yellow Sprites
- 1 Rainbow Sprite
- 1 Sharktooth Necklace
- 10,000 Gold
The Sharktooth Necklace comes from the Tidal Siege Event Shop. Check its live Sand Dollar price and stock before spending. Event quests and login rewards provide Sand Dollars. Grey Sprites can be crafted into the needed Sprite types, and Story stages provide Gold.

Sharkfang (Abyssal) slows, burns, and rewinds enemies
Sharkfang (Abyssal) is a Mythic unit with Hydro and Physical types and a placement limit of 3. Its kit combines slowing, damage over time, and a rewind effect, so three placements have to cover a lot of work.
- Waterfall: At the end of its range, it moves toward the enemy spawn, slows enemies by 35%, and deals 15% current damage.
- Boiling Waters: When Waterfall or Tidal Wave despawns, it creates a 5-second Vapor Cloud. The cloud's Burn stacks and deals 15% current damage each second.
- Tidal Wave: It summons two waves, applies Rewind for 10 distance, deals 50% current damage, and uses a 25-second per-player cooldown.
Ability values and timing can change with updates. If the live unit panel differs, follow it. For broader roster lookup, use the Anime Expeditions units collection, then confirm Update 2 values in-game.
