Guess That Unit (also labeled Guess That Unit!; some players say Guess The Unit) is an Update 1.0 daily minigame in Anime Expeditions. You get a black silhouette of a unit, race the timer, and name who it is. Correct guesses pay Event Coins, the limited currency for the event shop.
If you are still learning banners, stages, and early progression, start with what to do first in Anime Expeditions. Unit names matter under a clock, so the Anime Expeditions units collection is worth a skim once you play a few rounds.

How to start Guess That Unit and what Normal vs Hard change
- Open the main Events button (bottom-left of the main menu).
- On the Events page, find Guess That Unit.
- Pick Normal or Hard, then start the round.
You get a free attempt on a roughly 24-hour cycle. Want another run before that reset? Paid re-entry costs 2500 or 5000 Gold Coins, depending on the mode.
The real mode split is the clock. Normal gives you about 30 seconds. Hard drops that to about 10 seconds. The same unit pool can appear in both, so Hard is mostly the same silhouettes with less time to panic.
Successful guesses award Event Coins you spend in the event shop. Hard Mode is the better reward path overall for units, skins, shinies, and extra Event Coins, but exact drop tables are not public. Treat Hard as the higher-stakes option when you already know the roster, not a guaranteed prize every run.
The minigame sits in the Update 1 / Warrior Saga event window and is listed as ending with Update 2, so Event Coins are limited-window currency, not a permanent farm. If you need a little Gold for another attempt, Anime Expeditions codes can help stock the wallet between free resets.
Known Guess That Unit answers so far
More than 15 units can show up. Public answer lists only cover a handful so far. Treat this as a partial cheat sheet, not a full solution book. New silhouettes keep getting documented as players log them.
- Puppet (Telekinetic)
- Flame Emperor (Reincarnate)
- 8th Sword
- Lady Giant (Envy)
- Cursed Student
Evolved forms often keep a distinctive outline. If a shadow looks familiar but the name will not stick, check that unit on the units collection or compare it against best units in Anime Expeditions. Learning who is who for the timer also helps when you later evolve units.
