RIVALS wraps are weapon cosmetics. They change the look of a weapon or skin, not the damage, fire rate, reload, or movement in a duel. For collecting, the route that created a wrap usually matters more than the rarity badge because it tells you whether the wrap is a box roll, contract reward, shop item, limited source, or special grant.

How to get RIVALS wraps

RIVALS wraps come from several cosmetic routes. The main repeatable route is a Wrap Box roll, but contracts, milestones, shop rotations, bundles, old limited sources, and special grants all create durable wrap rows too. Source matters because it tells you whether a wrap is something you can still chase normally or an older reward that depends on its original route.

Why random and universal scope matters

A random-weapon wrap does not automatically unlock the same look on every weapon. Normal Wrap Box rolls give one random wrap to one random owned weapon, which makes a specific wrap-plus-weapon pairing harder to target. Universal or all-weapons sources are different because the wrap applies much more broadly when that scope is verified.

Contract wraps sit in the middle. They are usually tied to a source weapon, so the weapon name is more useful than a generic source label. A low-rarity contract wrap can still matter if a player wants that exact weapon cosmetic.

How limited sources should be read

Old season, event, ranked, code, ad, invite, and daily-task origins are kept as source notes on the wrap rows. They explain where the cosmetic came from, but they are not reward tables. Code-origin rows use old code reward or code reward wording only, keeping each row focused on the wrap itself.

What rarity tells you

Rarity helps scan the list, but it does not decide replacement difficulty by itself. A repeatable box wrap is easier to chase than a special grant even if the grant is not Mythical. Mythical is the one rarity with a verified behavior note here because those wraps are marked as animated.

Do RIVALS wraps change weapon stats?

No. Wraps are cosmetic. They change how a weapon or skin looks, but they do not change damage, fire rate, reload speed, movement, or any duel stat.

What is the difference between random-weapon and universal wraps?

A random-weapon wrap applies to one random owned weapon when the source gives it. A universal or all-weapons wrap applies much more broadly when that scope is verified, so it is usually easier to use across a collection.

Are Mythical RIVALS wraps animated?

Yes. Mythical wraps are marked as animated, so those rows use an Animated motion field. Lower rarities stay unmarked unless a row-specific source proves animation.

Why do old code, event, season, and ranked sources appear here?

Those sources created durable wrap cosmetics. They stay as source and availability notes on individual wrap rows instead of becoming separate code, event, season, or ranked reward pages.

Can unobtainable RIVALS wraps still be earned?
