RIVALS Wiki

Updated on (2 months ago)

RIVALS is a fast first-person shooter built around short rounds, where you face off in duels from 1v1 up to 5v5 and the first side to five round wins takes the match. You bring a loadout of four slots, primary, secondary, melee, and utility, then live or die on your aim and movement.

Rounds reset constantly, so one good push or one careless mistake can swing things in seconds. Sliding and movement matter as much as your gun, and there is no long grind to be competitive. Outside the core duels you can drop into modes like Team Deathmatch and Free For All, earning keys to unlock new weapons and cosmetics as you go.

Weapons:

Weapons are the core RIVALS loadout system. Primary, Secondary, Melee, and Utility choices decide how you fight, while type, cost, unlock route, default status, mode-only notes, and contracts explain which rows are realistic goals and which ones only appear in special modes.

Maps:

Maps decide where each RIVALS duel plays out, from regular public arenas to bigger team variants, experimental tests, and private-server legacy versions. Availability is the cleanest first split because it tells players whether a map belongs to normal voting, large lobbies, testing, or private practice.

Skins:

Skins are RIVALS weapon cosmetics tied to specific weapons. Source route and availability matter as much as rarity because a case skin, event case skin, bundle skin, ranked or Glory skin, UGC-linked skin, old code reward, or special-owner skin can have very different obtainment paths.

Wraps:

Wraps are RIVALS weapon cosmetics. Source route, availability, and random or universal scope matter more than rarity for collecting, while Mythical rows stand out because they are animated.

Charms:

Charms are RIVALS weapon cosmetics tied to capsule rolls, chests, bundles, limited origins, social actions, creator or developer conditions, and restricted grants. Rarity helps with sorting, but source route, availability, and weapon scope explain whether a charm is a normal chase or mostly collection history.

Finishers:

Finishers are RIVALS kill-effect cosmetics that play after an elimination. Rarity helps sort them, while source and availability separate pack rolls, event chest items, season or ranked rewards, bundles, shop purchases, contract rewards, milestones, and the Ragdoll fallback.

Emotes:

Emotes are RIVALS cosmetic wheel animations. Daily Shop rows use Key prices, while pass, bundle, event, ranked, and UGC milestone rows need source and availability notes so players do not treat every emote like a normal shop purchase.

UGC:

RIVALS UGC items are official Nosniy Games Roblox avatar items that also count toward an in-game reward track. Item IDs, avatar item types, Robux prices, official creator status, and milestones decide whether a purchase is the correct official item and how much reward progress it gives.

Gamemodes:

RIVALS gamemodes span three families: always-on standard queues from 1v1 duels up to Ranked, a daily rotating slot that cycles through rule-benders like 1 HP Swift Standoff, dual-wielding Double Trouble, and the aim-free Hardcore Parkour race, and occasional event modes like the PvE Zombie Tower. Each mode rewrites health, loadout, or win-condition rules, so the right queue depends on what your loadout and aim are built for.

Ranks:

RIVALS ranked tiers run from Bronze at 0 ELO through Onyx, Nemesis at 3,600, and the top-200 Archnemesis leaderboard, with each named tier below Nemesis split into three 200-ELO steps. The climb changes the rules as you go: daily loss shields end at Platinum I, inactivity decay bites from Onyx I, and Archnemesis finishers earn each season's exclusive Arch weapon skin. Placement matches plus your previous season decide where you start.

Currencies:

RIVALS runs several currencies with distinct jobs: Keys buy weapons, cosmetics, and box openings year round, Skin Tickets from the Season Pass open skin cases for free, Glory pays out ranked seasons for the Ranked Shop, and Jump Shards unlock the Jump Pad. Each seasonal event adds its own expiring coin (Candy, Crystals, or Pearls) for that event's chest and shop. Knowing which wallet fills from which activity is the core of spending well.

Loot Boxes:

RIVALS loot containers map one-to-one onto its cosmetic families: wrap boxes at 5 Keys, the Charm Capsule at 3, finisher packs at 10, and Skin Cases at 249 Robux or free Skin Tickets, plus a themed chest each seasonal event costing 30 event currency. Numbered boxes are separate design pools rather than upgrades, and the free Standard Weapon Crate even drops a real weapon unlock. Which pool you roll matters more than what a roll costs.

RIVALS Gameplay Tips

  • RIVALS is built around short first-to-5 duels, so judge your loadout by repeated rounds, not one lucky fight.
  • Spend Keys with every weapon slot in mind. Primary, Secondary, Melee, and Utility choices all change how you handle peeks, pressure, and cleanup rounds.
  • Start contracts on weapons you actually use. A contract reward is easier to finish when the weapon already fits your normal duel plan.
  • Learn the map before blaming the weapon. Regular, big, experimental, legacy, and private-server maps can change sightlines, team size pressure, and safe angles.
  • Cosmetic source matters more than rarity alone. Skins, wraps, charms, finishers, and emotes can come from cases, boxes, capsules, shop routes, bundles, milestones, old code or event origins, ranked sources, UGC rewards, or special grants.
  • Official RIVALS UGC is Roblox avatar gear from Nosniy Games. It is separate from weapon skins, and official purchases can count toward the in-game UGC reward track.
