RIVALSWEEN is RIVALS' Spooky Event, and it ends November 7, 2026, at 12 a.m. ET (November 6 at 9 p.m. PT). Any Candy you're still holding when it closes disappears, so plan to spend it before then. Two tower challenges run alongside the Candy grind: the new Gargoyle Tower and the returning Zombie Tower. Their rewards are cosmetics, and each tower has its own escape rule.
How to Unlock the Spooky Event and Earn Candy
You can reach the Spooky Event menu from the main lobby or the Play page. If the Spooky Event Hub is locked, finish 20 duels to open it. The count adds up across your account, so you can build it over several sessions, and you don't need 20 wins. Unfinished matches may not count, so finish the duels you start. If the menu shows a different number or wording, follow the menu. New to duels? The RIVALS beginner guide covers the basics.
Once the hub is open, the daily routine runs in this order:
- Finish today's Daily Tasks. That unlocks Event Tasks, and the objectives change, so read them in the Tasks menu.
- Complete Event Tasks for Candy. Each task pays roughly 15 to 30 Candy, and the menu shows the exact reward for each one.
- Use your bonus Spooky Prize Wheel spin. Event Tasks can earn you one each day.
Candy Rush is the speed boost. Every day you get a free x5 Candy boost until you've earned 200 Candy that day. After that, Candy keeps coming in at the normal rate, so the boost is a head start, not a cap. If you're also running Weapon Contracts, check the reward on each contract before you count on Candy from it.
What Can You Buy With Candy?
The Candy Shop sells five items at fixed prices. The Haunted Chest is back with one new emote, the Candy Dance, and at 30 Candy it's the quickest buy. The 5,000-Candy Zombie Walk Emote is the long-term target, so decide early whether you can reach it before the event ends.
| Item | Candy cost |
|---|---|
| Haunted Chest | 30 |
| Jerm Charm | 1,000 |
| Brewery Wrap | 2,000 |
| Acid Splash Universal Finisher | 3,000 |
| Zombie Walk Emote | 5,000 |
Candy buys these five shop items. The wheel and the towers run on separate tracks, and the tower rewards listed for this event are cosmetics.
The Spooky Prize Wheel
Wheel spins are the random side of the event. The wheel includes Spider Crossbow and Red Moon cosmetics, both exclusive to the Spooky Event. Without published odds, don't count on one specific prize. You can buy extra Spooky Prize Wheels in bulk from the Shop; check its current price before buying.
How to Get Gargoyle Tower Rewards
Gargoyle Tower is the second monster tower challenge, and it's new for this event. Queue from the Play page or the Spooky Event menu, then go solo or climb with friends. For the other modes, see the RIVALS gamemodes page.

- Queue from the Play page or the Spooky Event menu.
- Clear each floor to open the next path up the tower.
- Collect drops for ammo or health as you go. Melee attacks can save ammo.
- Near what looks like the top, defeat the Gargoyle King.
- Keep clearing the ranged gargoyles that follow him, then reach the helicopter and escape.
If the route after the Gargoyle King looks different in your run, follow the path shown on screen.
Escaping the tower earns all three rewards, and the conditions get stricter as you go down the table.
| Reward | How to earn it |
|---|---|
| Gargoyle Head Charm | Escape, alive or dead |
| Conduction Wrap | Escape alive |
| Towerstone Wildcat Skin | Escape alive and solo |
How to Get Zombie Tower Rewards
Zombie Tower is back with a short list of changes:
- Completing the tower alone now rewards Towerstone Fists.
- Weapon drops only pick up with the proximity prompt, so you won't grab one by touching it by accident.
- Chombies spawn somewhere new; keep an eye out.
- If you fall behind your group, a Grim Reaper shows up to clean you up instead of the usual 50 Reapers.
- Queue from the Play page or the Spooky Event menu, or gather your group first.
- Work your way up the floors to the top.
- Kill the Giant Chombie on the final floor.
- Board the helicopter to escape. If you want the Zombie Wrap, stay on your feet while it leaves.
| Reward | How to earn it |
|---|---|
| Chombie Head Charm | Escape, alive or dead |
| Zombie Wrap | Escape alive |
| Towerstone Fists | Escape alive and solo |
That standing requirement applies only to the Zombie Wrap; the charm and Towerstone Fists use their separate conditions in the table.
Spooky Skin Case and Bat Bundle
The Spooky Skin Case is back with five new skins: Web Shooters, Jeremiah, Xenofrost, Mimic Wildcat and Gravelight. The Bat Bundle is the other big cosmetic piece. It's a limited-time bundle of eight items you can only get in that bundle: Batblade, Slingshotula, Karambat, Batnade, Bat Wing, Bat Flock, Become Bat and Take Flight. Find it in the Skins section of the Shop. The bundle is sold with a discount and bonus items, so check its live price before you buy.
The lobby, join screen and logo also get a spooky look, and the arena has been petrified into towerstone.
Pick your Candy target now and let the daily tasks get you there. The countdown appears when the event is close to ending, so don't wait for it to start spending.
