The Boglin Branch is the reward for Youngster Goblin’s FischFright 3 quest in Caustic Hallow, not an event-merchant purchase. FischFright 3 is a limited-time event, and the quest is available during it. Only its three Goblin challenges require Normal difficulty or higher; Easy Goblins can still drop Witch’s Ingredients and Boglin parts.
Where to Find the Youngster Goblin in Caustic Hallow
At Moosewood, board the Flying Dutchman and talk to the NPC marked with the green Event icon. Choose Set sail! to reach Caustic Hallow.
On arrival, turn right and follow the path to House 506. Walk behind it to find Youngster Goblin near Beatrix’s Cauldron. Talk to him to start the quest, then open your quest tracker to see all five counters.
How to Complete the Youngster Goblin Quest
Keep the tracker open while you farm. These are the five objectives and what counts for each:

Goblins spawn on islands around the main sea. Follow the location alert and travel to the listed island. Accept the Goblin’s task, complete its objective, then claim the reward from that same NPC so the tracker can count it. Tasks vary: one might ask for a movement goal, while another can send you to speak with Beatrix three times.
Pass on Easy Goblins until the challenge counter reaches 3/3. After that, Easy rewards can still fill the other counters. The three Boglin parts can drop at any difficulty, while tougher challenges can give you more Witch’s Ingredients. If you’re hunting parts, keep claiming any Goblin task; choose a tougher one when you want more ingredients.
Any mix of these eight Witch’s Ingredients works: Dirty Candy Corn, Strange Root, Crushed Bone, Spider Eye, Giant Mushroom, Raven Feather, Bat Wing, and Dark Art Skull. Dark Art Skull counts toward the ten ingredients, but it does not satisfy the separate Boglin Skull objective. If you also want to offer ingredients to Beatrix’s Cauldron, turn in the ten to Youngster Goblin first.
When all five counters are complete, return to Youngster Goblin and hand over the ingredients and Boglin parts. After the unlock notice appears, check your Fishing Rods inventory for the Boglin Branch.

Lure Speed reads 80% above, but the Fishing Rods panel may show -30%. If the numbers conflict in your game, follow your live stat card.
The rod has a distinct fishing bar, can apply Boglin Mutation, and may stun or freeze fish during the catch minigame.
