The Eyeball Monster is a Divine pet from the 2026 Halloween event, and it costs 30,000 Candy Corn at the Frightening Fauna shop. You buy it during Ghoul Garden, but where you equip it matters just as much.
How to Get Eyeball Monster in Grow a Garden
Frightening Fauna is the event pet stall in Ghoul Garden, and Candy Corn is the event currency you spend there. Here's the route:

- Join the Ghoul Garden event in Grow a Garden.
- Earn Candy Corn. The Earning Candy Corn section below covers how.
- Open the Frightening Fauna stall and look for the Eyeball Monster.
- Buy it for 30,000 Candy Corn.
Stock is random and refreshes every five minutes in the current version, so the pet won't always be on the list. If it's missing, check back; a later update could change that timing. Prices can shift with a patch, so if the shop shows a different number, trust the shop.
Earning Candy Corn
You can earn Candy Corn by selling Halloween crops at Sinister Sales. You can also contribute to the Witch's Brew cauldron, which takes Halloween fruit from your regular garden and fruit with a Halloween mutation. When the cauldron fills, everyone who contributed gets rewards, and those can include Candy Corn.
Keep a running total against the 30,000 price so you know when to check the stall.
What the Eyeball Monster Ability Does
The ability goes off every 20 minutes. Each time, it targets four different pets, fruit or plants in your garden, and each target gets the effect for its type.
| Target | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pet | Cuts four minutes off the cooldown on its passive abilities, so they fire sooner |
| Fruit | Has a 20% chance of getting the Spooky Mutation |
| Plant | Advances its growth by 10 minutes |
Pet targets help the pets you already run, and fruit and plant targets help your harvest. The ability numbers can shift too. If the pet's in-game card shows different values, use the card.
Can You Use Pets in Ghoul Garden?
No, not on the Ghoul Garden plot. Pets are disabled there, so the Eyeball Monster can't be equipped while you're on the event plot. Equip it in your regular garden instead, where its ability can trigger.
A hotfix could change this rule. If the plot starts letting you equip pets, follow what the game allows.
Buy it while the event runs, then let the 20-minute timer work in your regular garden.
