All RIVALS Charms and How to Get Them

Updated on June 28, 2026 (16 days ago)

RIVALS charms are weapon cosmetics that hang from a weapon and show where that item came from. They do not change weapon damage or round power, so the useful comparison is source, rarity, availability, and whether the charm applies to all weapons, a random weapon, or the weapon used for a special objective.

Event, season, ranked, code, UGC, Twitch/drop, and challenge origins are recorded as source fields on permanent charm rows. They are not treated as current reward-track pages, and code-origin charms are labeled as old code rewards.

How to get RIVALS charms

RIVALS charm sources split into normal rolls, limited origins, paid offers, social rewards, creator conditions, and restricted grants. The name and rarity tell you what the charm is, but the source route explains whether it is realistic to chase now or mostly useful as collection history.

Source routeWhat it meansExamples of row context
Charm CapsuleA key-based charm roll sourceCapsule rows show Charm Capsule as the source type
Haunted or Jolly ChestEvent chest source for charm rowsChest rows stay in the charms list with limited-source availability
Shop or ad rewardShop-side action or ad-style unlockThese rows use shop/ad source notes instead of event claims
Bundle or paid offerBundle, flash sale, or paid routeSome rows note all-weapons scope when the source lists it
Limited originEvent, season, ranked, code, UGC, Twitch/drop, or challenge sourceCode-origin rows are labeled as old code rewards
Social or creator routeFavorite, like, group, notification, community, or creator/developer conditionCreator rows usually depend on eliminating a named person with the weapon
Restricted or unobtainableTester, friends-and-family, tournament, or special grantThese are collection entries, not normal unlock targets

How weapon scope changes a charm

A charm can be listed without a scope, for all weapons, for a random weapon, or for the weapon tied to the objective. That distinction matters because an all-weapons charm is broader than a row that says it was earned for this weapon. When the source only gives the obtainment route and not the scope, the row leaves scope as not listed instead of guessing.

Why source matters more than rarity

Rarity is useful for scanning, but it does not tell the whole story. A Common charm from an old season or event chest can be harder to replace than a higher-rarity charm from a repeatable roll. A bundle charm has a different route than a capsule charm. A creator or developer elimination charm is not a normal shopping or rolling target at all. Read rarity with the source and availability fields before deciding whether a charm is something to chase or just a collectible history marker.

Bundle and paid-offer charms usually matter because the original route was tied to a purchase or limited offer. Check the weapon scope before assuming one charm applies to every weapon.

These charms come from Charm Capsules, Haunted Chests, Jolly Chests, shop actions, or ad/shop-style rewards. Capsule and chest names are source routes for charm rows, not separate catalog goals.

Restricted rows cover tester, friends-and-family, tournament, or similar grants. Treat these as collection context, not normal goals a player can reliably chase.

Social rewards come from actions such as liking, favoriting, joining, notifications, or community links. Creator and developer charms are different because they depend on eliminating a specific person with the weapon.

FAQ

Q.

Do RIVALS charms change weapon damage?

No. Charms are weapon cosmetics. They help show collection history, source route, or special unlock conditions, but they do not change weapon damage or round power.

Q.

Can you still get every RIVALS charm?

No. Some charms come from repeatable sources such as capsules, while others came from old events, seasons, ranked rewards, code rewards, creator or developer conditions, or restricted grants. The availability field keeps those routes separate.

Q.

What is the difference between Charm Capsule and chest charms?

Charm Capsule rows are normal capsule-source charms. Haunted Chest and Jolly Chest rows came from chest sources, usually tied to limited or seasonal origins. The chest name is recorded as a source route on the charm row.

Q.

Are creator and developer charms normal unlocks?

No. Creator and developer charms usually depend on eliminating a specific named person with the weapon. They should not be treated like capsule rolls, shop items, or normal event rewards.

Q.

Why do some RIVALS charms have no image?

Some source rows only expose a placeholder or no clean charm image. Those rows keep the charm data but leave the image blank instead of using a weak substitute.
