Rarity tiers and what they mean for trading
Every knife in MM2 sits in one of nine rarity tiers. The tiers work as both a cosmetic ranking and a rough value ladder, where higher rarity generally means higher trade value, though within any tier there can be a wide spread.
Common and Uncommon knives come out of boxes regularly and hold low trade value. They're easy to acquire and make up most of the drops new players will see. Rare and Legendary knives are harder to land and worth more, especially older ones that stopped appearing in boxes years ago. Godly knives are the main target for active traders, values stretch from entry-level pieces worth a handful of units up to hundreds, depending on the knife and how long it's been around.
Above standard Godly sit four special tiers. Chroma knives are animated Godly-tier pieces with color-shifting effects; they're rarer and more valuable than any standard Godly. Ancient knives came from holiday events that no longer run, you cannot unbox them today. Vintage knives are from MM2's earliest days and are completely trade-only. Unique knives are one-of-a-kind weapons, nearly all of them untradeable, awarded to top event leaderboard placements.
How to get knives
Boxes are the primary source. Knife boxes drop Common through Godly knives, and Mystery Boxes mix knives and guns together. You open them with Coins, Diamonds, or Mystery Keys earned in-game or purchased with Robux.

Knives marked Available can be unboxed right now from an active box. Knives marked Limited are no longer in any box, retired, event-only, or never re-released, and trading is the only path to ownership. Most knives in the collection are Limited, which reflects how MM2's seasonal rotation works: each event adds knives, they retire after, and the trading economy grows around their scarcity.
Unobtainable covers a small group, mostly Unique weapons that were never tradeable and cannot be obtained at all through normal play today.
How trade values work
The values shown are community trade values: agreed-upon numbers the MM2 trading community uses to compare items when making deals. They are not Robux prices. Values shift based on supply, demand, and game updates, so treat them as a relative guide. A knife worth 200 is worth roughly twice what a knife worth 100 is in a trade. High-demand or newly retired knives can jump quickly; older Common and Uncommon knives tend to stay flat.
