How awakening states work
Most full awakenings start when you fill the Awakening meter and activate it with G on PC. Some characters add another condition inside the awakening, such as a ritual, a special item sequence, or repeated Awakening Black Flash hits. Check the activation note before assuming every character follows the same route.
Full kits and follow-up states
Full awakenings replace the base character's tools with a named kit. Some also lead into a domain or a later state. Ten Shadows' Ritual is the Mahoraga path, while Perfection's super state follows successful Awakening Black Flash hits. These are separate states with their own names, so they stay separate from the parent character.
Base-only specials
Base-only characters do not switch into a complete awakened moveset. Their named awakening is one special, counter, transformation, or split instead. Use the activation and awakened-effect text to see what the state actually changes, and do not read a missing full kit as an unfinished card.
