Every skin equips on one character only. Pick your main first, then decide whether you are spending Player Points, grinding levels, or hunting free unlocks outside the shop.
How skins unlock
Shop skins cost Player Points (PP). Prices range from cheap recolors to expensive showpiece looks. Buy them on that character's skin list when you have the points.
Milestone skins come free at character levels 25, 50, 75, and 100 (Milestone I through IV). A few characters also have extra milestone-style rewards tied to deeper progress. Leveling the character you actually play is the cleanest free track.
Special skins skip the PP shop. They come from in-match achievements, owning a set of related skins, collab badges in other Roblox experiences, art contest rewards, or similar one-off goals. Read the unlock line on the card before you farm the wrong game.
Seasonal skins use holiday currency such as Sukkars or Gingerbreads, or temporary PP event prices. Owners keep them after the event ends. Availability often reads Limited / event even when you still own the skin.
Gamepass skins sit behind Robux passes (Earth Day set on several characters, VIP on Slasher). They are not PP purchases.

Smart spending tips
- Main first. Skins never transfer. Dumping PP into a character you rarely queue locks the look where you will not see it.
- Milestones are free progress. If you already main someone, their level track pays cosmetic milestones with no shop cost.
- Set skins can unlock another free one. Shedletsky's Awesome Ninja needs Shadow, Fire, and Light Ninja owned first. Check set requirements before buying random fillers.
- Secret variants are not separate skins. Spy, Engineer, Parlor Gubby, Cosplayer, and Mr. WorldWide can flip colors or flavors while equipped. You unlock the base skin once.
- Badge farms live outside Forsaken. Collab skins need the listed badge in the other experience (A Story, Rabbids: Takeover, The Isle, Doomed 2 Die, Tower Defense Simulator, Battle Bricks, and so on).
- Seasonal currency expires with the event. If you care about a holiday look, spend Sukkars or Gingerbreads while that shop is open.
Common mistakes
- Expecting a skin to buff damage, healing, or chase power. These are looks only.
- Treating Limited / event as deleted. Owners keep seasonal and retired shop cosmetics; the label means new players may not buy them right now.
- Ignoring special achievement skins while only shopping PP. Several of the coolest free looks are skill or collab checks.
- Buying every cheap recolor and running dry before a high-cost skin you actually wanted.
Play the character you enjoy, grab their free milestones, and only open the PP wallet for skins you will equip on purpose.
