Forsaken’s Summer Games update added a limited-time x2 EXP Event on Aug. 29, 2026. Summer Games also gives you Summer EXP and Tix through objectives and round wins, but those event currencies are separate from normal character EXP.
Roblox’s official event record runs from Aug. 29, 2026, at 20:00:40 UTC through Oct. 3, 2026, at 20:00:40 UTC. That is the Summer Games window, not a confirmed timer for the separate 2x bonus. The calendar is doing its usual trick of making two timers look like one.
The 2x EXP bonus was added with Summer Games, but the timers are not the same
The Aug. 29 update’s listed events include Events: x2 EXP Event. That confirms the bonus was included in the Summer Games patch. It does not confirm a separate start time, end time, XP formula, or rule for which characters receive it.
The official Roblox event record describes Summer Games as a cosmetics pass and gives the event its Oct. 3 end date. Summer EXP and Tix belong to that event track. Do not use the event end date as the 2x EXP end date.
Play rounds and finish objectives to advance the event track
Open the Summer Games panel from the lobby before you queue. It shows the active objectives you can work toward.
- Check the active objectives. Pick goals that fit the rounds you plan to play.
- Play rounds and aim to win. Winning rounds can add Summer EXP and Tix.
- Finish the objectives. Keep the panel’s listed goals in mind while you play.
- Review your progress. Return to the panel to see how the event track moved and what to chase next.
Summer EXP and Tix are event-track currencies. They help with the Summer Games cosmetics pass, but they are not the same label as normal character EXP. For the wider game loop, the Forsaken wiki can fill in the terms that the event panel assumes you know.
Do not confuse the event with every other EXP boost
Forsaken’s update log separately lists All Survivor XP gains increased by 2x, with Crystal Pitch and Regular Punch excluded. That is a Survivor XP balance note. It is not proof that the limited-time x2 EXP Event has the same scope.

The screenshot shows why the wording matters: the exclusions sit beside the Survivor XP line, not beside a published timer for the event bonus. The limited-time toggle’s exact scope is still unverified, so do not assume it doubles Summer EXP, normal character EXP, or both. Do not assume the Survivor XP note stacks with it either.
Patch-note wording also mentions a gamepass alongside the event, but no dedicated 2x EXP product, price, or purchase requirement is confirmed. Use the in-game event panel for active objectives, and do not infer a paid pass from that wording alone.
Use Oct. 3 as the Summer Games event deadline, not as a promise about the separate 2x EXP timer. For the rest of Forsaken, Forsaken codes covers the separate code system for future sessions.
