Evade Wiki

Updated on (1 day ago)

You join a map, wait out the short prep, then spend the round running from nextbots (chase enemies that kill on contact). They give themselves away with idle audio, light flicker, and a red filter that gets stronger as they close. You sprint, crouch-slide, jump, pop lights and utilities, and try to last the full timer, usually around three minutes in standard play.

Between rounds you spend Cash on lights, utilities, powers, usables, and up to two perks, while XP unlocks higher shop gear. Pick a gamemode before you queue (Casual is the soft start; Pro, Arena, and others change lives and rewards). About every third round can flip into a special round with new rules, so movement and loadout matter more than camping one lucky corner.

Utilities:

Utilities and powers are cash shop equipment you equip for Evade rounds. Utility picks cover map direction, round timing, nextbot awareness, and short decoys. Powers are a separate slot for stun hits, grapple mobility, and portal travel. Compare price, level gate, and effect before you spend, because only one utility and one power go into a loadout at a time.

Vehicles:

Vehicles in Evade are driveable ground and aerial rides used to move while nextbots chase you. Free map spawns sit on specific maps (cars, ATV, forklift, ghost, rover). VIP ground tanks, a golf cart, and all flyers only force-spawn from the private-server Insert Vehicle menu. Compare seats, approximate top speed, and spawn maps when you plan an escape route.

Perks:

Perks are cash shop loadout bonuses in Evade. Buy them under Character in the shop, equip up to two at once, and almost all of them stay passive for the whole round (Boost Pack is the keybind dodge). They cover movement (speed cap, acceleration, walkspeed, double jump, panic bursts), team revive and downed tools, hearing range, end-of-round cash or XP, and extra deployable slots.

All 12 Perks in Evade

Lights:

Lights are Equipment tools in Evade that you buy in the Shop (or unlock free), equip in your light slot, and toggle with F. They range from a free aimed Flashlight, to Lantern’s omni glow, to wearable Headlamp and Night Vision. Dark special rounds are when style and team visibility matter: casting lights help the whole squad, while Night Vision only brightens your own view.

Special Rounds:

Special rounds are Evade's modifier rounds that replace a normal nextbot loop with a gimmick every third round on public servers. Some change your speed, jump, camera, or controls; others cut vision, mute idle audio, or scale how many and how large nextbots are. Featured specials flood the map with named bots like Bobo, CatJard, Super Munci, or mixed party casts, and finishing them can pay a reward multiplier above a normal round. Knowing which rule just rolled tells you whether to grab Night Vision, radar, hide corners, or simply outrun a faster pack.

Gamemodes:

Gamemodes are full server rule sets you pick in Evade’s Mode Browser or VIP panel. Each one changes lives, round length, map voting, rewards, and who can join, from Casual practice and crowded Big Team lobbies to Level 50 Pro maps and one-life Arena. Exclusive picks like None and Ghost need VIP access, while Interloper Mission and Legacy Evade sit outside the normal public grind. Choose the mode for the job: learn, farm, sweat, socialize, or run a private house rule.

Nextbots:

Nextbots are Evade's main chasers: pathing enemies that hunt players around the map. Most are flat 2D faces, with some GIF and 3D specials mixed in. They close with proximity audio and lights, then kill almost instantly at short range, so you survive with sprint tools, map routes, and clean corners rather than a fight. Common bots fill public rounds, while Uncommon specials, Exclusive VIP inserts, and Legacy-only faces change how and when you meet the threat.

All 262 Nextbots in Evade

Weapons:

Weapons in Evade are exclusive combat tools: guns, melee, and the odd event explosive used against nextbots and rebels. They are not sold in the cash shop. You get them from VIP Server Panel tools and commands, or from special rounds and gamemodes that hand them out. Compare damage, ammo, and availability when you want more than shop lights and utilities.

All 21 Weapons in Evade

Usables:

Usables are cash shop tools you equip in a four-slot loadout and spend when a chase or revive gets ugly. Consumables cover personal speed, smoke, decoys, and revives from the wheel. Deployables go on the map for light, team outlines, barriers, sensors, mines, speed and jump pads, and teleporter links, with a small placement cap. Buy what fixes the deaths you keep taking: self boost early, stalls and team tools next, then map mobility once unlocks open.

All 13 Usables in Evade

Characters:

Characters in Evade are full-body skins that replace your Roblox avatar during matches. You buy standard ones with Points from the Daily Shop, unlock pack skins through gamepasses (or free Worlds Collide via the Tower Blitz Recon Base badge), and grab limited looks from seasonal shops and a few mission badges. They are pure cosmetics, so pick them for style, trails like Cat Bobo Suit or Bunny Jard, and how you want to look while you evade.

All 27 Characters in Evade

Maps:

Maps are the arenas you vote into each Evade round. Public servers offer a short ballot from the regular pool, then you survive on that layout while nextbots hunt. Every map has a difficulty band (Easy through Expert) that also scales end-of-round rewards, and Hard plus Expert show up on Pro servers too. Small maps are compact copies of full layouts: same theme, less space, faster chases. Check hazards and objectives before you commit a vote.

Evade Gameplay Tips

  • Keep moving and listen. Most nextbots are a hair slower than a full sprint, but they can teleport when stuck, so a quiet corner is rarely free forever.
  • Spend early Cash on tools that help you stay alive (Radar, Timer, Radio, Cola) before you dump money into fashion or late unlocks.
  • When a teammate goes down, press Q to carry them somewhere safer, then hold E to revive. Revives help the team and your Cash, but finishing the round alive is still the main XP path.
  • Treat special rounds and Hard or Expert maps as a different run plan. Bring the loadout for that threat instead of playing like Casual every time.
