How to use pattern packs in-game
Patterns apply after you are already wearing an item that supports pattern customization. Open the worn item, use its customization controls, and choose from the Patterns tab. Some outfit pieces or item parts do not support every pattern, so a pack is not a universal overlay for your entire avatar.
Why unlock route matters
A pattern pack can be free during an update, earned from an advent reward, bought from a limited shop, tied to a collaboration, or connected to a Fashion Pack DLC code. Those routes are not equal for a new player. A free old update pack may still be unobtainable now, while a DLC row depends on the matching product route instead of Cash grinding.
The coverage stays pack-level. Dress To Impress also has hundreds of standard individual patterns, but those are a separate swatch pool. The cards here count named unlockable packs, not every pattern image inside the game.
