Dress to Impress hides a surprisingly deep story under its runway: Lana the nail tech anchors a lore that spans demonic doubles, Greek mythology cutscenes, a dead coterie, and seasonal horror chapters. Around that story cast orbits a parade of collab and event characters, from Santa boss fights to Lady Gaga and KATSEYE appearing in-game.

The Lana lore
What started as a nail salon NPC grew into the game's connective story. Lana's chapters pull in a doppelganger, the demon-touched Lina, designer Serena, possessed Nurse Julie, and mythology figures like Iphigenia and Orestes, unfolding through quest chapters attached to seasonal updates. The cards carry each character's species, status, and debut, which doubles as a map of how the story escalated update by update.
Event and collab characters
The second cast exists because DTI became a collab stage: Lady Gaga's event brought her into the game, BLACKPINK's Jisoo and the five members of KATSEYE followed, and creators like Leah Ashe and Callmehhaley appeared in event chapters. Seasonal figures (Santa as a boss fight, Cupid, Holly the elf) round out the roster. Most were limited-time, which makes this cast a timeline of the game's biggest moments.
Following the story
Lore chapters attach to updates and often expire with them, so the character list is the durable record: if a status reads deceased or a debut names a chapter you missed, that story beat happened whether or not you were there for it.

Which celebrities have appeared in Dress to Impress?
