Choosing seeds for the run

Food Seeds solve hunger or movement problems. Berry Seeds create a renewable food source, while Chili Seeds grow Chili that gives a temporary speed increase. Plant them before the team is already hungry enough to debate the furniture.

Flower Seeds support the Fairy loop because harvested Flowers can buy more seed packets. Firefly Seeds create Fireflies, giving the map extra light and helping recharge flashlights.

Potion Ingredient Seeds need more planning. Dripleaves grow beside ponds, Cavevines belong in Locked Caves and Mineshafts, and Mandrakes grow near Trick-or-Treat houses. Moonflowers and Stareweeds can grow across the map, but harvesting them has its own rule.

Using the Fairy seed route

The Fairy sells seed packets for Flowers. Common food, Flower, and Firefly packets also appear through grocery or chest routes, while the specialist potion packets come through the Fairy.

Spend Flowers on the output your route can actually use. Buying a cave plant when nobody plans to brew potions is a fine way to grow decorative homework.

Planting and harvesting

Each seed packet grows its output one in-game day after planting. Check the planting context before using a specialist packet, because Cavevines, Dripleaves, and Mandrakes need the right part of the map.

Moonflower Bulbs can only be harvested at night. Stareweed needs a Flashlight shone on it before its petals can be collected. Those rules affect the harvest, so pack the light and schedule the trip before the plant is ready.
