Trying to learn Water Breathing in Slayers 2? The Underwater Rocks task sends you to the marked water area beside Bamboo Grove, where five glowing blue pickups sit on the submerged bed while your oxygen drains. The rocks are not along the bank, and there are no reliable permanent Rock 1 through Rock 5 landmarks to memorize.
Start by reaching the hidden Water Trainer Urokodaki room, then use short dives to collect the pickups, surface to refill oxygen, and repeat until the tracker reads 5/5. Here is the route, the requirements, the search pattern, and what unlocks after the collection step.
Where to Find Water Trainer Urokodaki in Slayers 2
Reach Bamboo Grove and look for the small house surrounded by water near the bridge. The route to Urokodaki begins at the nearby water opening, not at the visible bank or a normal doorway.

Swim through the concealed opening and follow the underwater passage. Climb the ladder at the end to enter the hidden wooden room. Once you have the requirements below, speak to Water Trainer Urokodaki. If your screen shows a different name, confirm that the interaction starts Water Breathing training.

Slayers 2 Water Breathing Requirements Before Underwater Rocks
Have these requirements ready before you speak to the trainer:
| Requirement | What to have ready |
|---|---|
| Level | 25 or higher |
| Wen | 5,000 Wen |
| Demon Horns | 30 Demon Horns |
After the trainer accepts the requirements, continue the Water Breathing training until the objective tracker shows Underwater Rocks 0/5. That tracker is the sign that you are collecting the five targets for the correct step.
Where Are the Underwater Rocks in Slayers 2?
With the objective active, search the marked water area beside Bamboo Grove. You may see this water called the lake, river, or Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, but the targets are on the underwater bed and nearby rock ledges. Use the Shrine or Torii landmarks to orient yourself when they are visible.

The pickups glow blue below the surface. They are scattered across the search area rather than placed at five stable, numbered landmarks, so do not waste time looking for fixed Rock 1 through Rock 5 coordinates. If an active target marker appears, use it as a navigation aid. If it does not, scan the riverbed and ledges methodically.
How to Collect All Five Underwater Rocks in Slayers 2
Once Underwater Rocks 0/5 is visible, use this dive-and-surface loop:
- Enter the marked water area. Dive from the Bamboo Grove-side water and move down to the bed or the nearby ledges.
- Search for the blue glow. Sweep slowly instead of swimming straight through the area. The pickup can blend into the underwater floor, so check the edges of rocks as well as the open bed.
- Move into interaction range. Get close until the on-screen pickup interaction appears, then collect the target. The tracker should increase by one. On PC, the pickup may be shown as a Sea Crystal interaction with a
Tprompt; follow the key shown on your own screen. - Surface before oxygen runs out. If one or two pickups are close together, collect them in the same dive. Otherwise, return to the surface as soon as the oxygen gauge gets low so it can refill before you dive again.
- Repeat across the area. Re-enter the water, scan a new section of the riverbed or ledges, and continue until the tracker reaches 5/5.

The quest tracker calls the step Underwater Rocks, while the blue object or pickup prompt may call each target a Sea Crystal. Those names refer to the same collection step, not two separate sets of items.
What Happens After Underwater Rocks Reaches 5/5?
Reaching 5/5 completes the Underwater Rocks part of Water Breathing training, but it does not unlock the style by itself. Return to the trainer or follow the next active objective and continue the remaining Water tasks. The route still includes the Water Trainee Sabito objective, along with the other training steps, before Water Breathing becomes available.
Slayers 2 Underwater Rocks Troubleshooting
- The counter stays at 0/5: Make sure the Water Breathing training tracker is active, then move closer to the glowing pickup until the interaction prompt appears. Swimming past it without interacting will not advance the counter.
- The fifth rock is missing: Make a slow sweep through a different part of the underwater bed and along the rock ledges. Use the active target marker if your game shows one, but do not rely on fixed numbered locations.
- The oxygen gauge is low: Surface immediately, let the oxygen refill, and start another dive. Your collection progress remains on the tracker.
- The tracker says 5/5 but Water Breathing is still locked: That is expected. Continue the next Water training objective and finish the remaining tasks, including the Water Trainee Sabito fight.
Once the tracker advances to 5/5, stop searching that water patch and follow the next Water Breathing objective.
