If you want to cross Ouwland faster in Slayers 2, the Horse Mount is worth the chase, but it is not a normal shop purchase. Horses appear as random wilderness spawns, other players can contest an unclaimed horse, and finishing the taming minigame still leaves a separate 15,000 Wen payment.
Here is where to check first, how to finish the taming sequence, and how to confirm that the Horse is actually in your inventory.
What You Need to Get a Horse Mount in Slayers 2
Have 15,000 Wen ready before you respond to a horse spawn. You do not pay to start the minigame, but you must pay after reaching 100% taming progress to add the Horse to your inventory.
The Horse spawns in the wild rather than at a shop. Reports place the spawn cycle at roughly 20 to 30 minutes, but that is an estimate rather than a guaranteed timer. The useful trigger is the server-wide escaped-horse alert, so move as soon as it appears instead of waiting for an exact minute.
Book of Guidance is worth separating from the Horse requirement. Some community guidance calls it a prerequisite before horse hunting, while horse-specific guides treat it as a map or fast-travel unlock. For this route, use it as a navigation aid for the Bamboo Grove Shrine when available, not as a confirmed Horse ownership gate.
The optional Horse Spawn Locator gamepass can point you toward the nearest horse, but it does not replace the timing minigame or the 15,000 Wen payment. Its Robux price can change, so treat it as a convenience rather than part of the required route.
Slayers 2 Horse Mount Spawn Locations
Bamboo Grove is the best place to start with the two practical checks below. These are useful landmark-based search points, not guaranteed fixed coordinates. If neither area has a horse, broaden the search toward Windy Peak and Windy Path as broader reported search areas.
When the escaped-horse alert appears, use a shrine or other available fast-travel option to get close, then move quickly. The horse can be claimed by another player while you are traveling.
Behind the Serpent Trainee at Bamboo Grove Shrine
Start at the Bamboo Grove Shrine and turn left toward the Serpent Trainee mini-boss. Take the ramp beside him into the open area, then inspect the right corner for the Horse.

At the Central Bamboo Grove Bridge
The second check is at the large central bridge opposite the large waterfall. Cross toward the far end of the bridge and inspect the area there before expanding your search to the broader region.

How to Tame a Horse in Slayers 2
Once you find an unclaimed Horse, approach it until the live Horse / [T] Tame prompt appears. Use the prompt to mount the Horse and begin the timing minigame.

Complete the minigame in this order:
- Watch for the white target button and its concentric moving ring.
- Click when the moving ring lines up with the target border or inner circle. The visible alignment is the important cue; do not rely on whether the animation appears to be shrinking or expanding.
- Repeat the timing input for each white target until the taming meter reaches 100%.
- When the purchase prompt appears, confirm the 15,000 Wen payment to claim the Horse.
Winning the timing sequence does not finish the whole process by itself. The purchase prompt is the point where you turn a successful tame into ownership.
What Happens If You Miss or Cannot Pay for the Horse?
A mistimed input is reported to buck you off and cost 10 HP. If you are still alive, approach the Horse again and retry the minigame, but remember that another player may be able to contest the spawn while you recover.
The payment is a separate failure point. If you reach 100% taming progress without 15,000 Wen, the purchase fails and the Horse is not added to your inventory. Taming alone does not reserve it for you.
How to Equip the Horse Mount in Slayers 2
After you confirm the purchase, look for the Horse in your inventory or toolbar. Put it on the hotbar if needed, then press its number slot to mount. Press the same slot again to dismount or unequip it.
The safest preparation for the next escaped-horse alert is simple: carry the full 15,000 Wen before you start searching. That way, a successful minigame does not end with the spawn still available to someone else at the final payment prompt.
